About Hermes

Hi, I’m Jorge! 👋 I’m a Software Engineering student at UEPA!

I’m deeply passionate about DevSecOps, Cloud-Native Architecture, and Distributed Systems. I advocate for understanding technology fundamentals, starting with foundational memory management in C before scaling up to modern deployments with Go and Rust. I also run an open-source homelab template fully equipped with Docker, Tailscale, and the LGTM observability stack for all of your application testing needs.

I’m also the founder of the Kernel UEPA tech community at UEPA and an active leader at the CAESoft student organization.
