Hey everyone! I’m Carlos Mejia, a junior studying computer science with a minor in asian studies. I’m passionate about building creative and impactful tech experiences, whether that’s through hackathons, open-source projects, or AI-driven applications. I love empowering students to learn Linux, Git, and developer tools while creating community-focused events. I’m always open to collaboration, especially for hackathons or projects that mix AI, design, and storytelling.
When I’m not coding, you’ll find me playing guitar 🎸, producing music 🎶, or learning Chinese 🌏. I’m a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy, and I love diving into books, movies, and games that spark my imagination.

WitCon 2026 is a student-focused Women in Technology Conference that empowers women and underrepresented genders in tech through talks, panels, hands-on workshops, and networking. The event connects students with industry professionals, mentors, and career opportunities while fostering an inclusive and supportive tech community.

is a hands-on workshop designed to teach students how professional software teams collaborate using GitHub.
