Young Alumni Day
Each year we are excited to find out who we’ll bump into at Young Alumni Day! It’s wonderful to welcome alumni back to Grymes. During Young Alumni Day we provide lunch along with the opportunity to say hello to friends, old and new. Every year we host a Q&A session for our current 8th grade students and our visiting alumni – a time for our graduating class to ask questions and alumni to share their best advice. A guest speaker traditionally follows with an address to the entire school.

Swing for the School
Every year, parents, alumni, and friends of Grymes gather on the golf course for some fresh air and friendly competition. Winners celebrate together at a post-game reception. All proceeds from golf and sponsorships benefit The Fund for Grymes, funding scholarships, faculty salaries, and operating costs – the great things that make the Grymes experience possible.

Grymes Gala & Auction
Whether virtual or in-person, the Grymes Gala & Auction is one event you won’t want to miss! It is always an evening to remember – filled with live music, fantastic auction items, signature cocktails and delicious fare… and of course, wonderful company.

Grand Friends' Day
Each spring, we invite the grandparents and grandfriends of Grymes students to campus for a fun and inspiring morning event. Grandparents and friends are invited to visit classrooms, enjoy music, meet teachers and friends, and explore student artwork. To close, everyone assembles outside in the Circle for the traditional Maypole Dance performed by 7th and 8th grade girls.
