Confirm unconfirmed contacts

New

You can now confirm contacts who were previously unconfirmed.

Sometimes, a subscriber might have issues with their confirmation email.

They may have missed it, accidentally deleted it, had it blocked by their mailbox, or encountered another problem. In such cases, you might want to manually confirm their subscription.

It’s best to only confirm contacts who subscribed within THE LAST 30 DAYS.

If it’s been much longer, they may not remember who you are and could mark your email as spam, which can negatively affect your sending reputation.

Here's how to confirm unconfirmed contacts:

Faster email sending architecture

New

Since January, we’ve been quietly rebuilding our email architecture from the ground up.

We called the new version V2. It’s faster, leaner & more reliable.

Starting in late June, we rolled it out in phases - first to a small group of power users, then gradually to almost everyone.

This wasn’t a minor tweak. It was a full re-architecture. We refactored code, ran hundreds of tests & optimized every step.

Now your emails send at a much faster speed than before.

If you still feel the speed isn't fast enough, there might be a small number of users still using the old sending architecture. Please contact us and we'll check.

Faster fixes for SPF issues

Improvement

If your sending domain has multiple SPF records, we’ll now unverify it immediately instead of retrying multiple times. This allows you to resolve the issue quickly and get back to sending emails without delays.

Smarter DMARC record handling

Improvement

BirdSend now checks for multiple DMARC records on your domain and flags them immediately. This prevents email delivery issues and ensures your emails land where they should — your subscribers’ inboxes.

Fixed sequence filtering logic

Fix

We’ve corrected the "is not" filter for sequences on the Contacts overview page so it works as intended. You can now accurately target contacts who aren’t subscribed to a specific sequence, regardless of their subscriptions to others.

Reduce spam complaints w/ expired opt-ins

Improvement

Double opt-ins that remain unconfirmed for 7 days will now expire automatically. This ensures outdated automations won’t trigger if that person subscribes again later, helping you avoid spam complaints and keep your emails relevant.

Auto-resume for paused sequences

Improvement

When a sending domain gets reverified, any paused sequences linked to it will now resume automatically. No more manual effort -- just smooth, uninterrupted workflows.

Enhanced login flexibility

New

We’ve added a new toggle in the settings to help users who face login issues due to device verification. Now, you can turn off the "verify device" option at your own risk for easier access when needed.
