Note: Until your email address is verified, you may not be able to utilize certain Tumblr features, like:

Not having a verified email will also affect your blog’s visibility.

Follow these steps to verify your email address:

  1. Check your inbox for the email address associated with your Tumblr account, including your junk or spam filters.
  2. Search for an email from Tumblr, with the subject line “Verify your email address”.
  3. Open the email and click or tap on the “This is me!” link in the email to verify your email address.
This image shows part of the verification email with the link that needs to be clicked or tapped on. The background of the email is white, the section of the link has a light blue background. The text over the link reads This is me! and is shown in a darker blue. Above the This is me! text, the email states: Hello! Just need you to verify that this is your email address. Underneath this message, the link with the light blue background is shown. Underneath the link, the following text is shown: Thanks! Gotta keep the internet safe from spambots and all that.
The verification email looks like this!
