When Toyota North America says they're looking to expand additive manufacturing across more applications, that tells you something about where the industry is headed. William ( Dallas) Martin (AMUG 🦕), Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Toyota North America, on the F870: "We've already seen the value additive manufacturing can deliver. The next challenge is expanding its use across more applications. The F870's combination of build size, material performance and industrial features aligns with the kinds of manufacturing needs we're looking to address." That's the shift we're seeing across the industry. Manufacturers aren't evaluating whether additive works. They're figuring out where else it can work, and they need platforms built for that scale. The F870 was designed for exactly that conversation. https://lnkd.in/evTn-2e3

A 1% improvement can make a massive difference at fleet scale. New case study: Learn how the U.S. Air Force used 3D printed microvanes, produced on the Stratasys F900 with Antero 800NA, to reduce drag and fuel consumption on C-17 aircraft. The result? Projected annual fuel savings of more than $14 million and a return on investment in just seven months. We recently welcomed Davide Sher of VoxelMatters to our HQ. Some conversations are simply better in person. During his visit, Davide toured our operations, spent time with our teams, and had a candid sit-down with CEO Yoav Zeif to discuss how manufacturers are putting additive manufacturing to work today. If you're evaluating where additive manufacturing fits into your production strategy, this article is well worth your time. It explores what's working for your peers that have moved beyond prototyping, how companies across aerospace, defense, and automotive are scaling additive on the factory floor, and why the economics of production additive manufacturing are shifting faster than most people realize. Read the full article ⬇️
"You need to be a believer. You need to have a lot of patience." When Davide Sher sat down with Yoav Zeif at Stratasys HQ, this was the line that stuck. Six and a half years into his role as CEO, Zeif was candid: moving Stratasys away from rapid prototyping and toward real production has taken longer than he expected. But the results are starting to show. Stratasys used to sell a machine here and a machine there. Today it closes deals for 10, 12, even 20 machines at a time, with aerospace, defense and automotive leading the way. Stratasys Direct, which Zeif cut from eight sites to three, has grown by double digits for two years in a row. On Markforged, Zeif didn't hold back on the praise ("they invented 3D printing with continuous carbon fiber, and they did it well") or on the deal itself ("we got it for a good price"). He also explained why he thinks AM companies, even direct competitors, should work together through the iAM Marketplace: the real competition, in his view, is the traditional way of making things. A great conversation with one of the people shaping where this industry goes next. Thanks to the whole Stratasys team for having us. Additive manufacturing is no longer something set aside for prototypes. At General Motors, it is helping support production, giving teams a faster, more cost-effective way to solve tooling challenges and share proven solutions across plants. As GM puts it: “Additive is just what we do.” Watch the full GM × Stratasys story to see how additive manufacturing is becoming an established manufacturing capability on the factory floor: https://bit.ly/4AdHLwn #AdditiveManufacturing #AutomotiveManufacturing #Manufacturing #3DPrinting #GeneralMotors

Nobody posts about "reliability." But ask Airbus, which prints more than 25,000 flight-ready parts a year, and reliability is exactly what matters. Stratasys has spent 37 years proving 3D printing isn't just fast, it's repeatable. Stratasys' Customer Advisory Board includes Boeing, Ford, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Aston Martin F1, and it's not just for good PR. Board feedback drove a real 22% jump in F900 reliability year over year. And the payoff isn't abstract. Angel Trains cut spare parts costs in half and lead times by 94%. Stratasys Direct ships over 100,000 defense-certified parts a year. Full story in the comments ⬇️ #AdditiveManufacturing #3DPrinting #Stratasys #Aerospace #Manufacturing #IndustrialAM

When evaluating new technology, the real test isn't year one - it's what happens after a decade of daily production. For the Stratasys Neo platform, the results speak for themselves. Take Paragon Rapid Technologies Ltd., whose original Neo system ("Trevor") has delivered more than 45,000 hours of print time at 97.6% uptime over the last 10 years. From aerospace and automotive to advanced manufacturing, Neo systems have evolved from exceptional prototyping into a business essential production tool, driven by reliable hardware and advanced Somos materials. Congratulations to the Gauntlet II top performers in the Drone Dominance Program and the teams behind them. We’re also looking forward to seeing the teams invited to the Phase 2.5 Qualifier put their platforms to the test. We’re here to help build what comes next and support the supply chain behind it. Stratasys can support the DDP Supply Chain Framework in two ways: contributing to the supply chain immediately through US-based certified contract manufacturing at Stratasys Direct, while also helping companies establish their own production capacity with US-made industrial 3D printing systems. That’s backed by high-performance materials, qualification expertise and a team drawn from the defense industry. Ready to build? We’re ready to help you scale: https://bit.ly/4dvSLLO

Three things we heard in our IMTS booth last week: "Our tooling lead times are killing us." "We need to bring more of this in-house." "Can this actually hold up on the production floor?" Yes. That's why we built the F870. Large-format build capacity with a fully heated chamber. Nylon 12CF for strength and stiffness that replaces machined metal. ASA for durable fixtures that live on the factory floor. And a price point that makes scaling additive across your operations a real business case — not a pilot project. Toyota and Rivian are already evaluating it for production-support applications. If your team is dealing with the same tooling challenges, we’d love to talk to you. https://bit.ly/4xJSEn4 #AddStratasys #IMTS2026 #AdditiveManufacturing #Manufacturing #MakeAdditiveWork
