Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהA glimpse into the Lumen playbook right here:Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהEvery wellness company eventually hits the same wall. And most die there. On my flight home from the Middle East, I spent some time trying to outline why. We're trying to solve five different problems with one solution: managing health across life stages, fitness tracking, nutrition optimization, medical data integration, and clinical care coordination. No wonder nothing sticks. I've looked into dozens of companies that tackle this. Longevity clinics offering $5,000 assessments. Wearables tracking every heartbeat. Diagnostic companies shipping blood tests to your door. Each solving their slice brilliantly. Each missing the bigger picture. What companies thrive in other industries? I tried to think through the first principles they get right: 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 Your Whoop might be 98% accurate. But if you stop wearing it after three months, that accuracy means nothing. The winners build products people actually want to use. Daily. Not because they should, but because they enjoy it. 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 > 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Your sleep data never talks to your nutrition app. Your workout metrics don't inform your medical records. We've built a thousand wellness silos. The breakthrough won't be another app, it'll be the connective tissue between them all. 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 Data without action is just expensive anxiety. The companies winning aren't the ones with the best dashboards. They're the ones that actually get people to change what they do tomorrow morning. AI could be the answer. Or influencers. Or some business model we haven't imagined yet. But whatever wins will nail these three things. The acute pain point isn't what we think. It's not better data or cheaper access or fancier wearables. It's the fact that wellness feels like work instead of life. And, like it or not, people are always looking for the easy and fast solution.

Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהSix years ago, at CES Vegas, we launched Lumen with a simple mission - to help people understand their body and take control of their health. This week, we’re back where it all started - unveiling Lumen Pro. It’s more than just the next version of our product. It’s a smarter, AI-driven guide that learns your body - helping you rebuild metabolism, gain muscle, and sharpen cognition. And for those on GLP-1 treatments, it’s a bridge to lasting behavioral change when the medication ends. I’ll be speaking at HLTH on the 5 Star WellTech panel with leaders from ResMed, WHOOP, and Samsung — sharing how technology is finally personalizing health. Come visit us at Booth #4527 and see what the next era of metabolic health looks like. #HLTH2025 #AI #MetabolicHealth #BehaviorChange #GLP1 #HealthTech #LumenPro

Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהWelcome, John LoGioco! I am excited about the road ahead, for scaling the business, and mainly for transforming lives together. 💫Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהExcited to embark on a new endeavor, I have accepted the role of VP Sales at Lumen.me, spearheading the enterprise and commercial go-to-market strategy. Founders Daniel, Merav, and Michal Mor, have created a revolutionary device to app health tech company that empowers both consumers and healthcare providers to understand and transform metabolic health through revolutionary, real-time biofeedback. Our body's metabolism is the foundational engine upon which we navigate life, and having the ability to both optimize and troubleshoot metabolic health is a game changer. The Lumen itself is a sleek, compact device that evokes the same captivating experience as unboxing a new iPhone. Inside each Lumen is a sensor that can analyze how the body is primarily generating energy from either fats or carbohydrates, all through a single breath. Prior to Lumen, such in-depth metabolic analysis was only accessible in clinical settings, requiring expensive equipment. Additionally, once Lumen understands your body’s metabolism, the app offers recommendations and insights in nutrition, sleep and exercise to improve metabolic health. Lumen's remarkable success is evidenced by the scientific community’s validation of the technology, with over a dozen universities incorporating Lumen in metabolic research peer-reviewed studies. To date, Lumen has the largest metabolic dataset in the world, with 64 million measurements logged. With this foundation of achievement, the next phase of Lumen's journey is to seamlessly integrate the solution into the healthcare system. Leveraging my experience in scaling Israeli tech companies, I look forward to elevating the company's commercial execution while driving growth and expansion.

Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהMerav & Michal, out in the open, sharing Lumen's latest study, probably one of the biggest in the world, with 2700 participants, showing how hormonal changes in hormones through the menstrual cycle impact our metabolism and what practical insights women can apply to their day to day, to prepare better for menopause transition. I am so proud of the Lumen team for lifting this great session. more to come. Link to the recording of the event in the first comment 🔥❤️

Daniel Tal Mor שיתף את זהOver the past decade, the team at Lumen witnessed the incredible impact of #MetabolicHealth through the lenses and data of more than 200,000 people, and 57M human breathe measurements - from its ability to treat obesity to the positive changes it brings to women's health during menstruation and menopause. It's now suspected and seem to increase health span by preventing neurodegenerative disease and protecting against cancer and cardiovascular disease. At the heart of it all is #MetabolicFlexibility and Lumen’s ability to see and help people understand and control it like never before. And we're proud to be pioneering this groundbreaking work from Israel, even during some of our country's darkest times. I'm immensely proud of the Lumen team for turning these ideas and promises into a reality. It's thanks to the foresight of individuals like Aaron Mankovski, the Pitango team, and Tal Barnoach that we're able to see that in us when it was all just conceptual research, and early signs of growth. I'm grateful for the recognition from Globes Magazine, and we're committed to delivering on that promise and our mission. We intend to keep pushing forward, making a difference in the world, from Israel, and do our share in rebuilding this beautiful, diverse, and complex country of ours 🇮🇱🙏 https://lnkd.in/dPEkabXk

I’m pretending to be relaxed (I wasn’t). We didn’t have an “AI strategy.” We barely had chairs that matched. What we did have: An obsession with users. A belief the web should belong to everyone. 20 years later, on a different scale. Same energy, better hair. Still arguing about the product. Still pushing each other. Still trying to build things that make the internet a little better. Some things should evolve. Some things shouldn’t.

Daniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהDaniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהWhile Function Health's competitors spent millions on a Super Bowl ad, Function put QR codes on $16 smoothies at Erewhon. Guess which strategy is smarter. Every Erewhon x Function smoothie comes with a hang tag offering $25 off a Function Health membership ($365/year lab-testing subscription). Here's the flow: → You buy a $16 smoothie (instant gratification) → scan the QR code → get $25 off a $365/year subscription (long-term customer acquisition). But this isn't just about the bottles sold in-store. It's about virality. Erewhon has become one of the most discussed spaces in recent years. Their stores are always going viral. Influencers post them. They are built for people to flex on Instagram. And Function successfully gained access to Erewhon's cultural momentum. Every viral Erewhon post is now a Function touchpoint. Every account that posts their $16 drink is potentially showing thousands of followers how to get $25 off Function. This is what top-of-funnel looks like when you think beyond ads. Most health brands are dumping budgets into Meta ads and hoping something sticks. Function turned a retail product into a viral lead magnet. The strategy breakdown: → Partner with a brand that's already culturally relevant (Erewhon) → Use a physical product as the hook ($16 smoothie = impulse buy) → Attach your offer to their virality (QR code on every bottle) → Let their customers become your customers (seamless handoff) → Convert retail browsers into subscription members ($365/year) Function's competitors paid for 30 seconds of Super Bowl attention. Function built a distribution channel that runs 24/7 and leverages someone else's virality. The lesson: Stop thinking of physical products as one-time sales. Start thinking of them as lead magnets. A $16 smoothie isn't revenue. It's a customer acquisition cost with instant gratification attached. If you can partner with a brand that already has attention, you don't need to buy it. What other creative top-of-funnel strategies are you seeing that don't rely on ads?

Daniel Tal Mor הגיבו על זהExcited to share I'm officially launching the coolest form builder on the market! 🌶️ Meet Spiceform.com - the AI-native form builder for lead capture, qualification, and customer workflows, built for the AI era. Legacy form builders drove me crazy. They’ve fallen behind, and they lure you in with "free" templates, but the second you need basic features - boom. You hit a massive paywall. I decided to fix it. Operating as a Solo Founder, I have zero corporate bloat. That lean execution means I don't have to pass massive overhead costs to you. I cut standard pricing by 50%+ and moved the “premium” basics into the free plan. Yep. You shouldn't be punished just for qualifying your leads. I only charge you when you scale your volume or need heavy AI compute. The handcuffs are completely off. But pricing isn't even the real story. Spiceform is built for 2026. You can generate, edit, and optimize forms with AI end-to-end! It also supports MCP, so LLM-based assistants can interact with your forms directly. And the experience? It feels like magic. If this is what the platform can do on V1... just imagine what it will look like in a month. Huge shoutout to Nimrod Lehavi, Ofer Bar-Or, and the entire Inevitable AI Group ecosystem for backing this vision and supporting the solo-founder journey. Try Spiceform, give it a spin, and let me know what you think! Link is in the first comment 👇

Daniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהDaniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהStress Follows a Map. We think stress hits randomly. It doesn’t. It follows a hierarchy. The brain does not treat the body equally. The Cortical Homunculus shows disproportionate representation for the eyes, jaw and hands - the regions that take priority under threat. Under stress, these areas increase muscular tone and narrow perceptual range. The eyes are not passive cameras. They are muscular instruments. When peripheral vision drops, the nervous system shifts toward vigilance. As you read this, your eyes are likely slightly narrowed. Soften them. Widen your visual field. Notice what shifts. In short bursts, that’s functional. Held all day, it becomes baseline tone. You are tightening the regions that regulate shutdown. This loop runs automatically. And it runs all day. This is not vague stress. It is sustained defensive tone in the most neurologically prioritized areas of your body. And over time, you stop noticing it.

Daniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהDaniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהI spent the weekend in Athens eating my body weight in oily fish and feta.🙌 But it also left me reflective. The Mediterranean diet is described as the gold standard in scientific literature - olive oil, legumes, vegetables, fish. These components absolutely matter. But I’m not convinced it’s just the ingredients. It’s the context in which they eat. Dinner at 10 or 11pm (something we’d rarely recommend in clinic). Shared dishes. Long conversations. No rush. Modern nutrition has zoomed very far in: micro and macronutrients. Layering rules, protein targets, time-restricted eating. All valuable tools, in the right context. But when you look at communities associated with longevity and good health such as the Blue Zones, common threads appear: strong social ties, shared meals, slower pace, lower chronic stress. Food is rarely rushed. It’s rarely solitary. It’s embedded in community. Meanwhile, many of us eat lunch between meetings or dinner at our desks. This trip was a good reminder to zoom out. The mediterranean advantage isn’t just olive oil and its diverse components, but the culture and lifestyle surrounding the meals themselves. Something I’ll be taking with me this week. What are your thoughts? #Nutrition #LifestyleMedicine #Longevity #MediterraneanDiet

Daniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהDaniel Tal Mor אהבתי את זהWe often think of stress as a mental problem. Too many inputs. Too much to do. Too much on the mind. Stress is a physiological state. It starts with: - A change in breathing - Unconsciously contracted muscles - Eyes that dart and hold tension (one of the biggest drivers behind chronic headaches) Over time, this isn’t just a feeling. It becomes a pattern in the body - shaping posture, movement, and baseline energy. Exploring the relationship between body and stress has been a long sidequest of mine - in research, and in lived experience. The work I explore through The Human Dojo rests on a few simple ideas: 1. Biology precedes psychology. 2. The body carries raw signal and honest data. Most of us were never taught how to listen to it. 3. And tuning the body can shift the state we’re living in. There is no “mind–body connection.” Because there is no separation to begin with. An oversimplified example: Wake up with sharp hip or back pain and suddenly your mood, patience, and motivation change. The body state shapes the mental landscape. This undercurrent runs 24/7 - usually below awareness until it gets loud enough that it can’t be ignored. In a world where we can build entire realities with our eyes, fingers, and imagination, the rest of the body doesn’t become less important. It’s a return to the body - as the interface through which we experience everything.

🧠💪 From sweat to science: Meet the Israeli startup turning everyday workouts into life-saving insights. What if we tell you that your sweat tells a lot about your physical and health state? Yopi Tech, founded by Hemi Re’em and Dr. Menachem Genut Ph.D, is redefining cardiovascular monitoring with a wearable device that does more than count steps. Their AI-powered armband analyzes sweat electrolytes in real time to measure oxygen consumption (VO₂), carbon dioxide emission (VCO₂), and other critical health metrics. A device offering far beyond what traditional fitness trackers offer. The idea was born after Re’em, an active and health-conscious individual, unexpectedly required triple bypass surgery. That wake-up call led to YOPI’s mission: to bridge the gap between fitness tech and real preventive healthcare. With mass production since early 2024 in southern Israel, Yopi Tech is bringing lab-grade metabolic monitoring to the masses and transforming how we train, recover, and stay ahead of heart health risks. #HealthTech #Wearables #IsraeliInnovation #CardiovascularHealth #FitnessTech #AI #PreventiveCare

Tel Aviv Joins Global Map of Quantum Hubs A new JLL report puts Tel Aviv on the shortlist of cities preparing for the quantum era, where specialized data centers will be as critical as the chips inside them. Quantum computing won’t just reshape science; it’s about to rewrite the real estate market with demand for cryogenic-cooled, shielded facilities. From labs to commercial campuses, Israel’s inclusion signals that local developers and investors need to prepare for a whole new asset class: quantum real estate.

Just wrapped up my third appearance on Israel's CNBC ערוץ 10- ערוץ הכלכלה Startup Show with Lee Sover — joined this time by Batsheva Moshe. 🙏 Thank you both for a great conversation on startups and Anthropic’s $13B raise. Everyone knows AI is the future. But here’s my non-consensus take: 🚫 Israel should NOT compete for AI supremacy. ✅ Cyber supremacy has served us well for 20+ years. 💰 But with global AI players investing $500B next year in infrastructure, 🇮🇱 Israel simply cannot compete — our entire national budget is ~$180B. Rather than too little, too late, we should be brave enough to step back from the table and seize our opportunity: 🇮🇱 Israel should go ALL-IN on HardTech. If 5,000 technical soldiers in Unit 8200 created the cyber nation, then the 30,000+ technical civilians now on reserve duty can expand Israel from a software nation to a HardTech nation — leading in robotics, drones, climate tech, and advanced manufacturing. Let’s build the physical future, not just the digital one. #HardTech #NationBuilding #IsraelTech #StartupNation #Innovation #DefenseTech #DeepTech #Manufacturing #Robotics #AI #Strategy

“The system is broken.” We keep chasing $100B valuations like it’s the norm. Said it last week, but it’s worth repeating, because let’s be honest… most of its paper. It’s not ARR driving these numbers. It’s hyper-funding rounds, inflated expectations, and a complete lack of liquidity. You’ve got companies that once hit $20B, now worth $600M. Others get acquired for $700M and then shut down within a year. And when you get to those inflated valuations, you're trapped: You can't exit. You’re not growing. You’re not liquid. You’re just stuck. The irony? Some of the smartest teams today are not raising massive rounds: → They're lean. → They’re keeping equity. → And they’re building actual businesses. So how are we going to get to $100B valuations off tiny teams, no revenue, and broken exits? You can’t. VCs are under pressure. LPs want liquidity. But IPOs are rare, private equity isn’t always interested, and secondaries, well, let’s be real… not a real solution for everyone. The system is overdue for change. Until then, we need to stop worshipping empty valuations. What’s one thing you would change about how we fund and value startups today?
