Manvi Aggarwal reposted thisManvi Aggarwal reposted thisThree years ago I stood on a stage and said SaaS is dead. The room laughed—not unkindly, but in that way when they've decided something is a bit. Fair enough. SaaS is the best business model anyone has ever invented. Declaring it finished, out loud, in 2023, sounded absurd. We wrote it down anyway. The thesis is still on our site. It hasn't aged the way people expected. Today, we at Ema are announcing our $77M Series B, led by Creaegis, with Accel, S32, Prosus Ventures, Hitachi Ventures and Wipro Ventures all increasing their investments. This takes Ema to a total of $140M raised to date. I don't believe a raise is an accomplishment in and of itself. It is a group of serious people looking closely at what you've built and deciding to believe in where it goes next. What it buys us is the ability to keep making the patient, expensive choices it takes to build a generational company. When we started Ema, I believed agentic AI would unlock the biggest productivity leap since the industrial revolution. Three years of building with customers has only strengthened that belief. Our AI Employees for HR, IT and Finance are in production at some of the largest companies in the world, running millions of workflows every day. This round is about the next chapter: a bigger go-to-market team, building the leading enterprise AI agent platform, and getting more enterprises to where our customers already are. Thank you to our investors, to the Ema team, to our advisors, and to every customer who bet on us before the results were obvious. Stop buying more software. Start hiring AI Employees. Manvi Aggarwal reposted thisManvi Aggarwal reposted thisSoftware was supposed to make work easier—but somewhere along the way, the software became the work. Today, we’re launching our biggest product yet to solve that: Ema's purpose-built AI Employees for HR, IT and Finance hubs. Most HR systems today are committed to zero-value-additive work that is filing tickets, chasing, and hoping. HR Tech costs are bloated, and people are distracted from real work. We’ve built Ema to fix this. Ema’s AI Employees execute HR, IT & Finance workflows to deliver real outcomes, across onboarding, payroll, employee support, L&D, growth, offboarding and more—elevating the entire hire-to-retire lifecycle. At Wipro, this serves 240,000 global employees, cutting HROps costs in half while increasing employee satisfaction by 20%. Enterprises have invested too much in various software tools and systems of record. But that can radically change now. Ema’s agentic AI Employees can reason, act, and deliver outcomes across the organization—enterprise-ready from Day 1. Don’t just take our word for it. Try it out today, at the link below. Manvi Aggarwal reposted thisManvi Aggarwal reposted thisLeft: she’s 3–4 months old. I’m answering customer emails. Right: last week. She’s almost two. I convinced her to do a cameo in our latest product launch video. She mostly just wanted the snacks. Same lap. In between, the company went from one product to four. I don’t have a lesson here. I just noticed the photos matched, and it made me realize how far both have come.

Manvi Aggarwal reposted thisManvi Aggarwal reposted thisThree years ago today, we started Ema with a conviction that felt obvious to us, but contrarian to most then: the future of enterprise work wouldn't be about better software—it would be about AI employees working alongside humans. In February 2023, this wasn't a popular take. "Agents" didn’t exist as a term outside of research projects. The idea of agentic AI autonomously handling end-to-end enterprise workflows sounded like science fiction. We saw something different and decided to bet on it. Knowledge work is fundamentally composed of decisions, not just tasks. If you could build systems that reason, learn, and act—that make judgment calls, not just follow scripts—you could transform what software was capable of. The early days were humbling. We were building a new category—a horizontal agentic operating system for the enterprise. That meant convincing enterprises to trust AI with critical workflows: support, finance, legal, sales. The skepticism was real. "Can it actually work in production?" The only way to answer: build something that works. Not a demo. A production-grade system with the architectural trust and reliability enterprises demand. What made it possible: the team. I'm often asked what I'm most proud of at Ema. The answer isn't our technology or customer wins. It's the team. People who are world-class technically AND who understand we're transforming how humans work. Who obsess over edge cases. Who build with empathy. Who ship fast without cutting corners on trust. Three years in, we’re grateful for the progress, and looking ahead. Agentic AI went from contrarian to consensus. But consensus brought noise, markets flooded with hype, but we stayed focused on the work. Deployed AI employees across sales, support, finance, legal, employee experience. In production. Processing millions of workflows. Learning from failures. Earning trust through proof of work. Now the question isn't "Can this work?"—but "How fast can we scale?" Our mission hasn't changed: allow businesses to describe problems and have them solved by AI Employees in minutes. Companies that figured this out are entering the future, the era of Agentic Business Transformation, with compounding advantages. To everyone who's been part of this journey—team, investors, customers, partners, advisors—thank you. Here's to the future. Swati Trehan Souvik Sen Ian Barkin Wayne Butterfield Vivian S. Manvi Aggarwal reposted thisManvi Aggarwal reposted this🚨 Launch 🚨 3.5 years ago, we started with a simple conviction: wholesalers and distributors deserve software that actually works for them. Not software they have to work around. Software that works for them. That conviction hasn't changed. What has changed — significantly — is everything we've built around it. ✨ We grew from a single product into a multi-product platform. ✨ We went deeper into real wholesale workflows — trade show selling, inside sales, payments, reorders. ✨ We layered in AI to remove the repetitive operational work that was eating up teams' time. ✨We became, in every meaningful sense, the AI platform for modernizing wholesale sales and operations. But if I'm honest — our brand hadn't kept up. Today that changes. We're sharing a refreshed brand and website that finally reflects the depth of what we've built and the ambition of where we're going. Big thanks to Ayush Barnwal and the ThunderClap - B2B Website & Branding Agency team for helping us tell this story visually in a way we never could before. To every wholesaler and distributor who's been with us on this journey — this one's for you. Explore the new site, and tell me what you think. Link in comments.

Manvi Aggarwal shared thisGreat conversation on B2B SaaS & AI. Customer obsession, grit and innovation at its finest Divyaanshu Makkar WizCommerceManvi Aggarwal shared this🔒 Be the last software your customers will shutdown! Divyaanshu and Vikas are selling to one of the most unassuming verticals and he's grown 8x in 5 quarters with 140%+ NRR! This is a textbook vertical SaaS approach with killer execution. What did WizCommerce do differently: 1) Finding an underserved opportunity -> Div looked outside the Valley ecosystem, and identified a massive potential in the unassuming B2B commerce vertical which was riddled with legacy tools that were painfully hard to use. Today they're the OS on which their clients operate. 2) Focus on speed to value -> "We have an immense focus of getting new customers to that outcome, and getting them there fast". Do this and customers will come back for the rest of your product suite. Sharp entry wedge + organic expansion. 3) Building Trust alongside your GTM -> At the end of the day its still about relationships and trust. Entering such markets requires a conscious effort to build that trust and brand recognition. Today WizCommerce is everywhere their customer hangs out, and has a local presence & team to build credibility. 4) AI for outcomes, not just features -> Help customers with core parts of their job. WizCommerce uses AI for smarter catalog management, pricing intelligence, merchandising, sales intelligence, marketing automation, and support. Manvi Aggarwal reposted thisManvi Aggarwal reposted thisAs I take a moment to reflect on 2024, I can’t help but feel grateful. It’s been a year of growth, challenges, and those quiet moments that remind you of what truly matters. This year changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. WizCommerce reached incredible new milestones, and I also began an entirely new chapter—fatherhood. Both have been transformative experiences, teaching me so much about patience, trust, and the power of showing up every day. Becoming a parent has given me a fresh perspective on growth. It’s not about giant leaps but about small, consistent actions—making thoughtful choices and trusting the journey. Watching my newborn discover the world, one tiny step at a time, reminded me how growth at WizCommerce often feels the same. Whether it’s rolling out new features or celebrating our customers’ wins, it’s the little, intentional steps that build something truly remarkable over time. This year, those steps added up to something we’re incredibly proud of. Our AI solution, WizAI, helped customers generate over $14 million in additional revenue by turning data into real results. WizShop, our e-commerce platform, processed over $100 million in orders, empowering 60 businesses to scale faster and smarter. And with deeper integrations and new payment solutions, we’ve made it easier for you to focus on what matters most—your growth. Beyond the numbers, what matters most to me is the trust our customers have placed in us. Every launch, every partnership, and every piece of feedback reminds me that we’re not just building software—we’re building relationships. As I hold my baby and look ahead to 2025, I’m reminded that it’s the small moments—whether it’s late-night feedings or late-night calls with our customers—that truly shape the future. I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead. In 2025, we’re unleashing the power of Generative AI for our customers, bringing unmatched efficiencies and growth opportunities. I’ve always believed that WizCommerce’s mission is not just to make our customers more productive but to help them grow, and our 2025 roadmap is designed to do exactly that. Let’s celebrate the journey so far and look forward to building something extraordinary together in 2025. Manvi Aggarwal reacted on thisManvi Aggarwal reacted on thisThe hard part of voice AI was never the voice. Voice agents today are faster and far more natural to talk to. But ask one to replace an employee's broken laptop, and most still log a ticket and hand the real work to someone on your team. You end up paying twice for the same request. Ema comes at this from the other side. Our AI Employees already resolve HR and IT requests end to end at some of the world's largest enterprises, and today we're giving them a voice. When employees pick up the phone, they aren't looking for a better conversation. They want the problem solved. That's what we've been building towards. We're opening it up with free credits. Try it at the link below and tell me what surprises you.

Manvi Aggarwal liked thisManvi Aggarwal liked thisWell.... here we go! One of our SDR Swapnil Gupta (Sandy) made an interesting cold call today to talk about our AI studio product WizStudio by WizCommerce. We hear alot of interesting objections but this one was different “I am anti AI, anti data centres, because AI will kill humanity. You can participate in it but I won’t” Thanks Anthropic for making people believe that AI generated ecommerce images can lead to human extinction. This is the stupidest marketing stint by a tech company and will go down in history as such.

You’ll be surprised (and terrified) by how well this water guzzling beast gets you.

“I have known Manvi since she joined BCG in May 2016. I have had the pleasure of working with her on a nine- month financial services consulting case. Manvi is the kind of driven, engaging, and curious person that helps create a lively environment and a safe place to take intellectual risks. Manvi has a knack to come up with effective solutions in ambiguous situations with several constraints. I was impressed by both her quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. She will be an asset to any team!”

We recorded my chat with Vidit Aatrey at South Park Commons, Bangalore — much earlier this year. Then we waited for the now epic IPO, as the company was in a silent period. If you've read the many headlines, and are wondering how Meesho made such a remarkable market debut, you should listen to this chat! More importantly, you should listen to this, to know how Vidit & Sanjeev Barnwal achieved what they did while still in their early 30s! One only wonders what’s to come, as they continue building for decades. Here's to many more stories like this! Link to full episode in comments.
