How is my data handled?

Inksightful requires cloud AI processing. When you scan notebook pages, selected page images, recognized text, and related processing data are uploaded to Inksightful's backend and may be sent to third-party AI providers to recognize handwriting, organize entries, and return results to the app. Your notebook library is stored on your device, but processing does not happen only on your device or only on Inksightful's servers. Do not use Inksightful for notebooks or notes that you are not allowed to share with third-party processors.
