basic_streambuf オブジェクトを構築し、6つのポインタメンバ (eback(), gptr(), egptr(), pbase(), pptr(), and epptr()) をヌルポインタに、ロケールメンバを std::locale()、構築時のグローバルな C++ のロケールのコピーに初期化します。2) 6つのポインタおよびロケールオブジェクトを
rhs が保持する値のコピーで初期化して rhs のコピーを構築します。 これはシャローコピーであることに注意してください。 新たに構築された basic_streambuf ｎポインタは rhs のポインタと同じ文字配列を指します。どちらのコンストラクタも protected であり、 std::basic_filebuf、 std::basic_stringbuf、 std::strstreambuf のような具象 streambuf クラスからのみ呼ばれます。

C++11 以前は、 basic_streambuf やその任意の派生クラスが CopyConstructible かどうかは未規定であり (LWG issue 421)、異なる C++ ライブラリの実装は異なるオプションを提供していました。
