🚌 Gain a unique perspective of Los Angeles history with A California Gothic–a Hollywood bus tour. The experience by New Theater Hollywood gives attendees a performance to remember, opening February 16th.
👖 Guess Jeans arrives to West Hollywood with the opening of its new two-story flagship store. They’re collaborating with Alice Hollywood, Mez, Vanna Kitty, and Miaou solely at the new flagship location throughout February.

❄ In collaboration with Organic Research Group, Viceroy Santa Monica will be launching Après Surf Lounge as an al fresco hangout opening on December 11th. Guests can expect a winter-inspired menu in an immersive, seasonal space.
⛄ 1 Pico at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica will be offering a 3-course prix fixe menu on Christmas Eve as well as a Christmas Day Brunch. Reservations can be made via Resy to try their exclusive holiday menu.
🥃 The holiday pop-up bar In Good Spirits will be arriving to Dahlia at the Downtown LA Proper hotel in partnership with Ilegal Mezcal. Beginning December 5th, guests can visit Thursday-Saturday to enjoy seasonal cocktails and live music in a festive setting.
🎄 The Benjamin Hollywood will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas serving up a Prime Rib Plate special alongside their a la carte menu. Reservations can be made via Resy from 5:30-10pm on December 24th & 25th.

🎄 Holiday Road returns for its 6th season in Calabasas on November 28th. The immersive Christmas-themed experience runs through December 27th, and features a series of cutting-edge LED light displays along a walking trail.
✈ In celebration of the new United Airlines flight route from San Francisco to Adelaide, South Australia is collaborating with Bluestone Lane from November 4th – 21st on their South Australia Wine Flight. Diners who purchase the wine flight will be entered to win a free flight to Adelaide. You can also enter online!
🛎 Hospitality impresario Ian Schrager announces the new PUBLIC West Hollywood hotel will be opening in Spring 2026. Schrager is the brains behind the EDITION hotel brand as well as legendary nightclub Studio 54.
🍫 A ButterLove&Hardwork residency arrives to the La Peer Hotel on November 8th. Pastry Chef Chris Ford will be bringing an edible art experience that includes his signature breakables alongside whimsical installations.
🍦 Salt & Straw launches their Thanksgiving Series on November 1st with festive flavors like Parker House Rolls w/ Salted Buttercream, Turkey Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce, Maple Koginut Squash with Pomegranate, Pumpkin Pie Tiramisu, and Cranberry Orange Sorbet (v).

😢 After three years, LAVO Ristorante will reportedly be closing its Sunset Strip location with its last day of service on December 27th.
🎧 The Santa Monica Proper Hotel hosted two live music shows with Gold Sky Productions on October 24th & 25th. Attendees of Proper Presents saw a DJ sets from Washed Out and DJ Windows 2000 (aka Win Butler of Arcade Fire) in the lobby bar Palma.
🪦 Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery held a screening of A Nightmare on Elm Street on October 25th. Attendees included Stephanie Beatriz, Tim Robinson, Sam Richardson.
🌮 Thanks to overwhelming response, Salt & Straw‘s hit collaboration with Taco Bell, The Tacolate, returned on October 24th as a permanent menu item.
💧 On October 23rd, Liquid I.V.® announced their first-ever sports team sponsorship with the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) as their Official Functional Hydration Partner.

🍏 Salt & Straw ice cream will be embracing seasonal flavors with the launch of their new Apple Series. The collection includes flavors like Apple Cider Donuts, Caramel Apple Sherbet and more, available from August 29th – October 2nd.
🍸 On August 30th, The Beaudry Room at Conrad Los Angeles launches their mocktail menu inspired by the non-alcoholic De Soi beverage brand, co-founded by Katy Perry.
📽 Cinespia continues their 24th year of outdoor movies at Hollywood Forever Cemetery announcing the final screenings of the season: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (10/4), The Craft (10/11), ParaNorman (10/18), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (10/25).
😥 Grandmaster Recorders, Kahuna Tiki Noho, Goldburger Chinatown, Angel City Brewery, Truly LA, Los Balcones, and LA Cha Cha Cha all announce their upcoming closures.
⚽ Hospitality-driven sports venue Ballers is set to expand to Downtown LA in early 2026. The flagship West Coast location will feature pickle ball courts, soccer fields, bars, a recovery lounge and a retail shop.

🥃 Western wear brand Kemo Sabe launched their new Original Grit Tequila on June 17th in partnership with the Partida family, Jalisco-based tequila artisans. In-store selections are available in Aspen and Vail, with online sales launching in July.

🎭 Tickets are now on sale for Hollywood Fringe Festival, returning for its 15th year in Los Angeles. The festival of live theater performances will run from June 12th-29th.
🍕 On May 1st, David Dobrik launched his line of WAVERS chips as a part of The Original DOUGHBRIK’S Snacks with a launch party at his home in Sherman Oaks. The joint venture with influencer Ilya Fedorovich under the Tastemaker Foods umbrella is inspired by flavors served at their DOUGHBRIK’s Pizza location on Sunset Strip.
🧇 Caldo Verde at DTLA Proper Hotel will be hosting Mother’s Day brunch on May 11th curated by James Beard Award-winning Chef Suzanne Goin and restaurateur Caroline Styne.
🚵♀️ CicLAvia will host their 60th event with CicLAmini—Pico Union on Sunday, May 18th. People can walk, jog, bike, and skate through this smaller neighborhood route in the Pico-Union area.

🎉 Mediterranean restaurant Theía in West Hollywood will be celebrating their grand re-opening on April 25th and 26th after their summer 2024 closure.
🍻 After 15 years, the owners of Venice Ale House will be closing its doors and transitioning the waterfront destination into an all-new venue during the month of April.
🦈 Australian-owned brand Great White opens their latest location in Brentwood with a focus on fresh, local, and seasonally inspired dishes.
🥯 H&H Bagels in Santa Monica debuts their Spicy Scallion Cream Cheese, a pepper-filled twist on their classic Scallion Cream Cheese, available starting April 4th.
🛎 The AC Hotel Pasadena officially opened on April 1st. The property boasts 194 rooms and sits along the Rose Parade route in the city’s central business hub.

🍽 The Benjamin Hollywood restaurant announces its new expanded hours to being open seven days a week. They’ve also added new items to the menu including Eggplant Parm and Key Lime Pie.
🤗 From March 7th-31st, Visit West Hollywood will be running the Eat + Drink West Hollywood fundraiser. They’re donating $1 to Restaurants Care for any dine-in reservation made in select West Hollywood restaurants in support of food and beverage workers affected by the wildfires.
🍝 Los Feliz Italian restaurant Civico 2064 launches a new happy hour menu that runs Sunday-Thursday from 5pm-7pm. Drink specials and savory bites are inspired by Italy’s apertivo culture.
🎶 Cercle Odyssey, the world’s first 360-degree nomadic concert venue, announces its arrival to Los Angeles with May 2025 tickets now available for the immersive live music experience.
🍳 Through the month of March, influencer chef Desmond Scott will be hosting a pop-up menu at The West Hollywood EDITION available at the Lobby Bar and for in-room dining.

🥯 New York City brand H&H Bagels opened its first West Coast outpost in Santa Monica on February 26th. They supported wildfire relief by donating 100% of their first week’s profits to 100% of the first week’s profits to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund.
😢 Jordanian restaurant Layla in Santa Monica has temporarily closed on February 12th due to hardship, and are seeking a move to a new location.
🎨 In honor of Black History Month, Westfield Culver City will be hosting Creative Expressions Day where children can participate in meaningful arts and crafts on February 15th.
🍵 Heavy Water Coffee Shop will be collaborating with Minor Figures to give away Valentine’s Day-inspired Iced Strawberry Oat Matcha drinks to the first 50 customers on February 14th.
😞 The last day of service for Santa Monica restaurant Cassia will be February 22nd, as the restaurant closes its doors due to challenges in operations costs.

😣 Los Angeles’ only lesbian bar The Ruby Fruit closes suddenly amid unsustainable business challenges after the wildfires.
🍣 Yume sushi bar in Studio City expands to a second location in Old Town Calabasas. The menu includes classic sushi rolls alongside signature menu items available only at Yume Calabasas.
🏮 Beginning January 29th, The Benjamin Hollywood will be offering exclusive specials in celebration of Lunar New Year.
🌟 On January 26th, A-list guests attended the grand opening event of Italian restaurant Settecento, in partnership with the Palisades Charter High School recovery effort. Attendees included Lukas Gage, Madelyn Cline, Scheana Shay, Brittany Cartwright, Jasmine Goode, Jeanie Mai, and Jordan Chiles.
🌱 Plant-based eatery Civico 2064 was voted the nation’s best vegan-friendly restaurant in 2024 by VegNews magazine.
🍝 Provincetown, MA favorite Sal’s Place returns to Los Angeles for the season, serving up locally sourced Italian cuisine in West Hollywood. The restaurant will be open through Spring 2025.
