The Chinese HSK7-9 exam has "translation" tasks: in my case, from English to Chinese. Here's an example of the provided material:

On the HSK7-9 exam, there is "written translation" (written English to written Chinese) and "oral translation" (written English to oral Chinese) on the HSK7-9 exam. This is a relatively new exam, and there has been no translation on the HSK exams previously, and there's (currently) no translation on the other HSK exams. There's practically no study materials around for the HSK7-9 exam.
I'm hoping I can get some ideas for activities to prepare for the HSK7-9 exam translation tasks from those who study translation specifically, and from other exams which include translation.
