Edit after being locked: well this went poorly. I thought we were better than this.

Ok let me start off with a disclaimer: I am not a Zionist and think that the genocide that has taken place in Gaza is abhorrent. What has happened in Gaza is truly a stain that can never be wiped away. I also want to state that I am not an Israeli, a Palestinian, Jewish, or a Muslim; I am just a person who can admit to probably needing a better grasp on geopolitics. All of that said let’s get in to it.

In the aftermath of the October 7th attacks what response should Israel have taken? Obviously not what ended up transpiring but without the benefit of hindsight what should they have done? People were forcibly kidnapped and taken hostage, others killed by a surprise attack from a militant organization dug into an entire city. What would the proper response have been in the short and long term(s)?

    Prevented it…

Like, the story that they just didn’t see it coming was bullshit, they knew it just like Cheney knew about 9/11, they wanted it to happen to play a victim.

    But even months/years/decades earlier…

The attack happened because they’ve been treating Gaza as an open air internment camp for decades.

You can’t just pretend they were neighbors with no issues on 10/6, there was still a genocide going on that had lasted longer than most Palestinians have been alive

Hamas request was simple releases people that israel kidnapped from the west bank in exchange of the hostages then promise a plan to end settler colonialism

  • You know what you do? You go “Oh, hating each other has wrought nothing but suffering on both of our people, so we’re going to try to commit to working together now.” Together. Both sides. To create a joint vision of peace and prosperity. And that would mean Israel will have to return some property, address Palestinian poverty, desegregate the schools, etc.

It should prosecute the IDF soldiers that carried out the Hannibal Directive and kill their own civilians to false flag Jews into committing a genocide against a semite population. There were protests in Tel Aviv for 14 months regarding Netanyahu’s corruption. There was plenty of time to send him to jail over it, and it’s now paying the price of going along for the wars.

  • Jizzrael has enough intelligence and technology to know who is a hammas militant and where they are hiding. They know everything. They had a warning about the Oct 7th attack but didn’t respond, which, with other details, have made many believe that it was an inside job, and many of the people killed that day were from IOF artillery. That being said, they could have easily erased hammas, and spared the civilians and the whole of Gaza and other areas, but they had that already planned out, as they have done in the past, to take over Gaza, which according to trump and many others, will be turned into investment properties with casinos, hotels, and deluxe apartments.

Literally a fucking crime against humanity…

The term “forcible transfer” describes the forced relocation of civilian populations as part of an organized offensive against that population. It is a crime against humanity punishable by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The fifth punishable act of genocide is the forcible transfer of children from one protected group to another. The definition was part of a draft provided by the UN Secretariat that was used as the foundation for the 1948-adopted Genocide Convention.

      https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/forcible_transfer

It’s understandable for someone to be ignorant of that, absolutely inexcusable for someone to actual think it would be a good idea just because no one with a room temp or above IQ told them.

You’re out advocating for genocide as the fucking ethical path forward.

I hope you don’t actually believe what you type.
