I have been studying mathematics for 2 years, and I have already read Terence Tao's publication. Please suggest books on related topics, such as Euler's equations, mathematical modeling, mathematical physics, and more. This is my first question on the website, so please don't judge me too harshly. There may be some errors since I am using a translator.

C. Bender and S. Orzag, Advanced mathematical methods for scientists and engineers, Springer 1999.

It is much simpler than Landau and Lifshits. The explanation is on p. 203-204.

The classic reference from theoretical physics is Landau & Lifshitz, Mechanics (section 37, the asymmetrical top). For a more recent paper that includes numerical simulations to show the instability, see The tennis racket theorem, analysis and numerical simulation of the intermediate axis theorem.

For an intuitive explanation, see this MO question and its answers.
