There’s nothing like a cool smoothie on a hot summer day. I love to make them myself, but sometimes it’s easier to grab one on the road.

In Athens, Smoothie King was a regular stop for me, especially after a workout or long day in the sun. I have recently learned that Smoothie King does not exist in New York. Ok, that’s not entirely true. There are two Smoothie Kings in Manhattan. My point is, Smoothie King is not as convenient as it used to be.

However, Jamba Juice is! So, new place means new menu and now I have to figure out what my “regular” is all over again.

Yesterday I ordered the Orange Carrot Karma and was very pleased. The medium has 270 calories and tons of nutrition. I wish it had had a little more protein (only 4g) but next time I will ask for extra.
