Usually, when an answer doesn’t solve a problem, that solution will either get downvotes or will simply be left behind.
Getting feedback for why your answer wasn't accepted or why it got a downvote will further benefit the user that tried to solve the problem and the critic. I am not asking the high rep users to provide feedback but the ones that asked the question.
Why isn’t such an important feature added to the platform?
A similar question might be already answered, but in my case, I ask why not get feedback on your answer even if not downvoted? Answers shouldn’t simply get ghosted.
I understand that this can get messy on a big scale; that’s why users can choose the answers they want to get feedback to.
