Education

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

We believe Wikipedia and its sister projects belong in education. When learners of all ages contribute to Wikimedia projects as part of their learning, they gain significant 21st century skills. By fostering a relationship between Education and the Wikimedia movement, we have the best chance to realize our goal that the sum of all knowledge will be accessible to everyone in the world for free.

To advance this vision, the Wikipedia + Education User Group, through its EduWiki Hub, supports educators, affiliates, and volunteers who integrate Wikimedia into teaching and learning. The Hub serves as a global coordination space for sharing best practices, curating open educational resources, building technical tools, and strengthening leadership within the Wikimedia education community. Together, we ensure that Wikimedia in education continues to grow, connect, and empower learners across regions and languages.
