Hey there! I'm Marc Matsumoto, a Tokyo-based culinary creator, cookbook author, and host of the TV show Bento Expo. I started No Recipes in 2007 to share my love of cooking and help others unlock their culinary potential with simple techniques and quality ingredients. My goal is to ignite your passion for cooking by guiding you through the fundamentals while sharing the professional tricks I learned during my time as a chef.
Growing up in Napa, I learned how to cook from my mom, who taught Japanese cooking classes. After a stint in tech, my passion for food pulled me back into the kitchen, where I became a private chef and recipe developer.
I believe anyone can become a great cook with the right guidance, ingredients, and a few techniques up their sleeve. No Recipes is my way of sharing my knowledge and love for food with you so you can create unforgettable dishes and find joy in your kitchen. Join me on this culinary journey, and together, we'll explore the world of flavors and techniques, elevating your everyday meals along the way!
Follow me at the links below for updates, and if you find value in what I do I appreciate your support.
