Journal overview:
Aims and Scope
Published by the American Mathematical Society since 1997, the purpose of this electronic-only journal is to provide a forum for mathematical work in related fields broadly described as conformal geometry and dynamics. These include complex dynamics—and real dynamics using complex techniques—Kleinian groups, hyperbolic geometry, Teichmüller theory, and quasiconformal mappings. The journal seeks high quality original papers of both a research and an expository nature. Color graphics are encouraged.
Conformal Geometry and Dynamics is freely available to all readers and with no publishing fees for authors.
Peer Review
All articles appearing in this journal are peer reviewed by external reviewers. Editors may reject papers without external review that are not suitable for publication in the journal due to reasons such as subject matter or clear weaknesses in scientific content or presentation style. Conformal Geometry and Dynamics has a single-anonymous peer-review process in which the reviewers know who the authors of the manuscript are, but the authors do not have access to the information on who the peer reviewers are. Questions about the initial submission process should be directed to [email protected].
Individual readers of this publication, and nonprofit libraries acting for them, are permitted to make fair use of the material, such as to copy an article for use in teaching or research. Permission is granted to quote brief passages from this publication in reviews, provided the customary acknowledgment of the source is given.
In cases in which the author has selected a CC BY-NC or -ND license, relevant requests for permission to reuse or reprint material should be addressed directly to the author(s). Copyright ownership and licensing is indicated in the notice at the bottom of the first page of the PDF of each article.
Accepted articles are posted individually after proof has been returned from the authors. Conformal Geometry and Dynamics is accessible from the Conformal Geometry and Dynamics landing page.
Indexing and archiving notes:
This journal is indexed in Mathematical Reviews®, Zentralblatt MATH, and Emerging Sources Citation Index. This journal is archived in Portico and in CLOCKSS.
Inquiries:
Any inquiries concerning a paper that has been accepted for publication that cannot be answered via the manuscript tracking system should be sent by email or by postal mail to the Electronic PrePress Department, American Mathematical Society, 201 Charles Street, Providence, RI 02904-2213 USA.

Submission
All articles submitted to this journal are peer-reviewed. Conformal Geometry and Dynamics has a single anonymous peer review process in which the reviewers know who the authors of the manuscript are, but the authors do not have access to the information on who the peer reviewers are. The AMS uses Centralized Manuscript Processing for initial submissions to AMS journals. The preferred method of submission is to upload a PDF file using the Initial Manuscript Submission form.
An alternate method is to send one copy of the paper to the following address:
Centralized Manuscript ProcessingCONFORMAL GEOMETRY AND DYNAMICS
201 Charles Street
Providence, Rhode Island
02904-2213 USA
If a paper copy is being forwarded to the AMS, the following information is required with the submission (note that all contact information, particularly email addresses, must be supplied to avoid delay):
- Name of the journal to which the paper is submitted
- Name of the corresponding author
- Contact information including email address and mailing address
- The author should suggest an appropriate Editor to review the paper
No paper that has been previously published, or is being considered for publication elsewhere, should be submitted to the American Mathematical Society, nor may a paper that is under consideration by the American Mathematical Society be submitted elsewhere.
Included with the footnotes to the paper should be the 2020 Mathematics Subject Classification representing the primary and secondary subjects of the article.
The AMS Author Resource Center provides TeX Resources, the AMS Style Guide, the Mathematics Subject Classification, and further useful tools for preparing your manuscript. Journal abbreviations used in bibliographies are available for download.
After Acceptance
Once a paper has been accepted for publication, authors should follow the online Submission Instructions.
All authors must submit the Consent to Publish. All authors must agree regarding the Copyright Agreement. If the article is to be published in one of the AMS Open Access journals, authors must agree which Creative Commons License will be selected. Authors are encouraged to use AMS-prepared style files in preparing their papers.

Although an abstract is not required upon initial submission, upon acceptance authors will be requested to supply an abstract for the electronic version of this journal. An abstract should be at least one complete sentence and at most 300 words. The AMS offers free worldwide access to the electronic abstracts.
- Abstracts, references (with links to MathSciNet), and bibliographic information are freely viewable for every article.
- Free Digital Archive: Full article PDFs in all volumes older than five years are available electronically free of charge.
- A current active subscription to the electronic version of this journal is required to view article PDFs in all volumes published within the last five years. Subscribe here.(opens in a new tab)
