Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri شارك ذلكI started Snoonu with a dream that many people thought was too big: to build unicorn company from Qatar 🦄 Today, I want other founders to start building their dreams here, too. 🇶🇦 Through GrowthX Capital for Investment , I’m proud to announce two new pre-seed investments: $500,000 in Hired Valley , founded by Yerkezhan Zholdassova , a Stanford graduate from Kazkhastan 🇰🇿 who chose Qatar as the home for her company. Incubated by NVIDIA, Hired Valley uses AI to help job seekers tell their story and companies discover the right talent. $250,000 in Talebhub , founded by young Qatari entrepreneur Misfer Mohammed Al Marri 🇶🇦. He is creating a platform where students can turn their skills into income and build opportunities for one another. I remember how much it meant when someone believed in my vision before it was a reality. That is the support I want to give founders in Qatar. Through the Snoonu Startup Factory, we’ll work alongside these teams on building talent, planning funding rounds, developing deep technology, and turning ambition into lasting companies. Thank you to Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) for its outstanding programs and for helping founders take their first steps. We have more to build together. To every aspiring founder in Qatar: start building. You don’t need to have every answer today. Take the first step, find people who believe in what you’re creating, and keep going. Your dream could become the company that inspires the next generation. My dream now is to help make Qatar a home for many billion-dollar companies, not just one. 🚀

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri شارك ذلكHappy to return to my beloved school, this time to share a few lessons from my journey in corporate leadership and strategy. I spoke about something I deeply believe in: a great vision means little unless it is translated into a clear strategy, understood by people, and brought to life through a strong culture. Vision gives direction. Strategy creates the path. People make it happen. Culture determines how far you can go. A special thank you to the Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Amann and faculty for the warm welcome, and for continuing to inspire the next generation of leaders. Always special to come back to a place that was part of shaping who you are today. ❤️Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri شارك ذلكWhat does it take to take a business into new markets? For our current Executive MBA cohort at HEC Paris, Doha, the answer came directly from our alumnus Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri, Founder & CEO of Snoonu, who returned to the classroom as a guest speaker for our Corporate Strategy class. Hamad shared lessons from Snoonu’s internationalization journey, exploring how strategic priorities and leadership itself must evolve when entering and operating across new markets. For our participants, it was an opportunity to connect strategic frameworks with the realities of leading growth in a fast-moving regional business. We are proud to see our alumni continue to shape the HEC Paris, Doha community, bringing their knowledge back to the classroom and enriching the learning journey of the next generation of leaders. #HECParisDoha #ExecutiveMBA #CorporateStrategy #LeadershipDevelopment #AlumniCommunity #ExecutiveEducation

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri شارك ذلكToday, Qatar said goodbye to Lorne David Booker, Ph.D., MSc. Mgt, H.B.Comm, Ba Phil , a Canadian professor who dedicated part of his life to teaching at the University of Doha for Science & Technology. David played an important role in educating, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs, sharing his knowledge and encouraging young people to think bigger. His family could not be here when he passed away, but in that moment, everyone in Qatar became his family. People came together to stand with him, pray for him, and make sure he was not alone on his final journey. This is one of the beautiful things about Qatar. People may come from different countries and backgrounds, but when it matters most, we become one community. May Lorne David Booker rest in peace, and may the knowledge he shared and the people he inspired remain part of his legacy. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.

Their products reached thousands of customers, becoming a favorite among the Snoonu community, and the journey is only getting started. Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أعاد نشر ذلكHamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أعاد نشر ذلكWe've just made a major improvement to our S+ subscription with Guaranteed Savings One of the metrics we track for S+ is the percentage of subscribers who save more than they pay. We've found a way to make it 100%. There's an interesting mechanic behind many subscription programs: customers who don't use the program enough effectively subsidize the savings of customers who use it a lot. We never wanted S+ to work this way. Over the summer, we saw customers travel outside Qatar and keep their subscriptions active. They were paying for something they couldn't use enough to get the full value from. That didn't feel like the right way to treat our customers. So we built Guaranteed Savings. If S+ doesn't save you more than you paid, when you renew your subscription we'll automatically put the difference in your Snoonu wallet. We guarantee you won't pay more than you save.

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri شارك ذلكDee Hock called the balance between chaos and order "chaordic" : the harmony of chaos and order.” Building an innovative company is not about choosing between order and chaos. It is about learning how to lead both. Order gives a company clarity, accountability, and the discipline to scale. But process should be the foundation for innovation not the ceiling above it. When it becomes too rigid, curiosity disappears and talented people become followers of rules. Chaos is where bold ideas begin. It gives people the freedom to question, experiment, fail, learn, and invent. But without direction, chaos becomes confusion, ownership weakens, and momentum disappears. As founders and leaders, our role is not to control every move. It is to create enough order for everyone to move together and enough freedom to discover paths no one has seen before. Find the order within your chaos, and protect the chaos within your order 🚀 Just a normal dinner with Thiago Albuquerque & Matt Jones in Zuma to discover move chaos in our minds 💫

Roberta Saffels, MAPP , let’s do it! Something I’ve learned as a founder: some people bring such positive energy that the moment they walk into the office, they lift everyone around them. Others drain that energy. The energy we bring to work matters, it shapes how the whole team feels and performs.

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكHamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكThe same delivery running 10 minutes late means something different in San Francisco, Mexico City, and Doha. And the customer’s reaction is different in each place too. I’ve built CX across all three markets, and the biggest lesson is this: consistency doesn’t mean sameness. The discipline stays the same, but the sheet music changes with every market. Next week at CCW Europe in Amsterdam, I’m joining a panel on how global brands decide what to standardize and what to adapt locally. We’ll cover culture, regulation, personalization, and how to tailor experiences without fragmenting them. 📍 October 6, 1:45 pm If you’ll be in Amsterdam Oct 5–7, send me a message. I’d love to meet. Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكHamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكPink October is here, reminding us why awareness matters. 🎀 This month, through Care@Snoonu, we brought our people together for a Breast Cancer Awareness Session in collaboration with QLM Life & Medical Insurance and Chedid Re. From understanding the importance of early detection to learning more about prevention and regular screening, the session gave our team the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and put health at the center of the conversation. It’s all about people, and caring for our people means creating space for the conversations that matter. 🩷

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكHamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكWe spend so much of our day at work. How we feel while we’re there matters. 💛 As part of Care@Snoonu and in recognition of Yellow September, we welcomed Roberta Saffels, MAPP for an open conversation around mental wellbeing, work-life balance, and taking better care of ourselves through the demands of everyday life. A space to share, reflect, and pick up practical ways to make wellbeing part of how we work, not just something we think about when things get difficult. Because taking care of our people starts with making space for them. ❤️

Our payment infra is coming to the counter, connecting in-store and online payments through ONE platform. Here’s what we’re building for merchants: • Multiple acquirers behind one terminal. Route payments based on cost and approval performance, with a backup if a provider goes down. • More ways for customers to pay, including cards, digital wallets and local payment methods, at the same retail checkout. • A connected view of your customer’s online and in-store purchases, with reporting and reconciliation from one dashboard. We’re also introducing Tap to Pay, so you can accept contactless payments on compatible phones. Join Rasheed Bayter on October 15 for a live walkthrough: https://lnkd.in/eDJbaJvM

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكHamad Mubarak Al-Hajri أضاف إعجابًا إلى ذلكSome moments feel special not only because of the recognition itself, but because of everything they represent. Snoonu was named a finalist for the Creative Excellence Award at the Braze Torchie Awards 2026, and ultimately finished as runner-up among hundreds of applicants at Forge in Las Vegas. 🔥 Coming right after being named Braze’s September Bonfire Marketer of the Month, it makes this moment feel even more meaningful. A huge thank you to our CEO Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri for giving us the opportunity to be part of a team where innovation is encouraged, ideas are given room to grow, and we’re constantly empowered to build things that go beyond the ordinary. These recognitions are a reflection of the ideas, experimentation, creativity, and countless hours of work behind what we’ve been building together as a team. Proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going. This is not the finish line. It feels like we’re just getting started. And there might be one more surprise to share very soon… 👀🔥 Huge shoutout to my team, Nadir, Valentina and Saief, for the incredible work, the constant push to make things better, and for turning ambitious ideas into something real. Proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited for what’s ahead. ❤️
