Molly Edwards (she/her), MPH, RD, LDN specializes in nutrition therapy for eating disorders, disordered eating, diabetes management, PCOS, hormonal and reproductive health, and co-occurring substance use disorders. She works with children, adolescents, and adults of all genders and gender identities, taking a client-centered, weight-neutral approach rooted in Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES) principles.

Molly’s path to becoming a dietitian began while working in healthcare management, where she collaborated with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and developed a passion for preventative care. While originally on a path toward nursing, her service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Rwanda, where she taught maternal and child health nutrition and worked on malnutrition prevention initiatives, helped her realize she wanted to pursue a career in nutrition. She was immediately drawn to the unique way nutrition counseling combines science, education, and meaningful human connection.

During her graduate training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Molly developed a special interest in correctional health, conducting research on nutrition and eating disorders within incarcerated populations while completing an internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Since becoming a dietitian, she has worked in outpatient nutrition counseling, supporting clients with a wide range of medical, behavioral health, and nutrition concerns.

Molly is passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship with food and their bodies while building lives that align with their values and goals. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and sustainable change while honoring each person’s unique lived experience. As someone in long-term recovery from a substance use disorder, she feels especially connected to supporting individuals navigating recovery and healing. She believes recovery looks different for everyone and strives to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with her partner, family, friends, and her dogs, Caribou and Maizie. She loves being outdoors, whether hiking, paddleboarding, or traveling locally and abroad. She also enjoys live music of all kinds and anything spooky, from horror movies and scary podcasts to counting down the days until Halloween.
