About Our Name Change

You may know us as the Colorado Division for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (CDDHHDB) or our older name the Colorado Commission for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or DeafBlind (CCDHHDB). While our commitment to accessibility remains unchanged, our name is now SENSE Colorado! Operating under the Communications Services for People with Disabilities Enterprise, SENSE stands for Service, Education, Navigation, Support, and Empowerment. Whether you refer to us as CDDHHDB and SENSE Colorado, we are still the same team dedicated to creating a barrier-free state.

Our Programs

We offer a range of services designed to support Colorado’s Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities. From communication access and technology programs to mentorship and legal support, our goal is to help you connect, participate, and thrive.
