My motivation was to challenge my thinking, gain fresh perspectives and continue developing as a leader. I wanted to learn from people whose experiences differ from my own and bring new ideas into how I lead and approach business. The combination of INSEAD’s international perspective and Tsinghua’s depth of insight into China made TIEMBA particularly compelling. Our first module began with outward bound activities, from racing along the Great Wall of China to dragon boating and abseiling down a water dam. These shared challenges helped us build trust and close friendships early on. Our race-day chant, “East and West, TIEMBA is the best!”, captured the enthusiasm that brought us together. In the classroom, seven intensive rounds of business simulation with our assigned teams challenged us to balance competing priorities and make decisions together. We also had the privilege of spending two days exploring macroeconomics and China’s economy with Professor Bai Chong-En, Dean of Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management and a member of the Economic Committee of the 14th CPPCC National Committee. What has made the experience especially rewarding is the people. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the conversations, the stories shared and the friendships formed. Even with only five hours of sleep a night, the energy and enthusiasm across the cohort remained remarkable. I’m also honoured to have been nominated to serve as a Class Representative alongside Yating Zhuang, working with our committee members Ali Alawi, Danni Xu (徐丹妮), Assem Shamisheva, Hao Ding and Jin Gao. Thank you to our classmates for your trust. We look forward to supporting the cohort and creating opportunities to connect and learn from one another throughout the programme. It has been a demanding and rewarding start. I’m grateful to be part of TIEMBA 28 and look forward to what we will learn and contribute together. #TIEMBA28 #INSEAD #Tsinghua #ExecutiveMBA

I'm still replaying what Art Butcher shared with us today during the APAC session of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) Global Summit at Boston Scientific. There were so many takeaways: Stay curious. Step outside our comfort zones. Growth isn’t always about moving “up”, sometimes it’s about 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻. This is a reminder I needed, there is no single “right” career path. Growth can look like moving up, moving laterally, taking on something unfamiliar or simply finding a new way to contribute where you are. Another perspective that resonated deeply with me: 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄. Treating relationships as something we invest in for the long term rather than transactional. On behalf of the APAC YPN team - Jyemei Wong, Kelvin Tan, Su Ann Koh, Ishaan Billa, Tiong Khing Gueok, Michael Yeung - and those who were on the line earlier, heartfelt thanks to Art for taking the late shift to join us. We are incredibly grateful. I know much of what Art shared will stay with us. #BostonScientificAPAC #AdvancingTogether

Grace PY Lee liked thisI'm so thrilled to see Afinitiq Consulting participating in the Business Show Asia over the next few days. The past month has been an incredibly trying time for me personally as I've had to step away to focus entirely on urgent family health matters across two continents. I'm profoundly grateful to my co-founder Hitesh Kalra and our partner Kelvin Kwan at Incrementum for their unwavering support and for stepping in so seamlessly during this period. Hitesh will be taking the stage tomorrow on my behalf, alongside Kelvin, to share our insights on APAC B2B growth, and I know the audience is in fantastic hands. Do stop by booth 608 if you're at the event. Wishing the team a phenomenal event!Grace PY Lee liked thisThank you everyone for your wishes and for sharing the leads! We are all set for tomorrow! Led by the regional communications function with tremendous support from our global and country colleagues, this has been a cross-functional effort to bring local perspectives and original insights to the conversation about atrial fibrillation care across Asia Pacific. A big thank you to everyone who contributed their expertise, challenged our thinking and helped us turn a spark of an idea into a platform to engage clinicians, professional societies and healthcare stakeholders. Congratulations to SC Foo 符逍珍 who has been at the heart of this campaign from the very beginning. Her #growthmindset have been instrumental in getting us from promise to practice. My sincere appreciation as well to Ahmed Abdelaal, MD, PhD, Julien Willème, Maureen McGuire, Ph.D., Pablo Castrosín and Sylvia Ho (Silviany Hartono) for their expert advice along the way. It's been a great example of what happens when talented people collaborate across boundaries around a shared purpose. What drew me to Tactile is the combination of purpose and opportunity. Tactile is making a real difference for people living with underserved chronic conditions, helping them access therapies and better manage their health at home. The opportunity to use technology, data, and digital capabilities to make that impact even greater was incredibly compelling to me. After my first week, I can say I’m even more excited about the decision. I’ve met an incredibly talented group of people, experienced a culture that is deeply connected to the mission, and seen firsthand the tremendous opportunity ahead. I’m grateful for everything Boston Scientific taught me and for the many people who helped make that journey so meaningful. I’m excited to take those experiences into this next chapter and help Tactile continue to grow, scale, and make a difference for patients. Let’s go! #tactilemedical

From family rides led by my dad when I was a child to carrying that tradition on with my own family, some of my fondest memories have been made on two wheels. That's what made participating in my first Pan-Mass Challenge alongside my daughter, Kate, last weekend so meaningful. For those unfamiliar, the Pan-Mass Challenge is an annual cycling event in Massachusetts that has raised more than $1 billion for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 1980, with 100% of every rider-raised dollar supporting cancer research and patient care. It was inspiring to be part of an event that brought together more than 6,000 riders and thousands of volunteers, all united by the same purpose. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts. Together, Team Butcher raised more than $20,000 for cancer research—more than double our original goal. Thank you to everyone who donated, cheered us on and volunteered to make the Pan-Mass Challenge such an inspiring event! Cancer has impacted so many of our families in big ways. Seeing such a large community of people rally around a common cause was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together. I feel fortunate to have been part of something so much bigger than myself. #PMC2026

"The BOARDROOM & the PUBLIC SQUARE. Two very different rooms. But today’s leaders must be effective in both." I was inspired to write this post after reading a comment from Michelle Koh (Speaker) she mentioned that “Authenticity isn’t built in boardrooms. It’s built in the moments that would break you—but didn’t.” In the boardroom, the stakes couldn’t be higher. That’s where strategy is pressure-tested—where decisions steer the company toward growth or risk. One table. Many voices. The work is deliberate, confidential, and collective. But outside those walls, the story continues. Public presence—done right—builds trust, visibility, and connection. It’s how stakeholders see the human side of leadership. Yet here’s the tension: the same voice that adds value in public must also know when to pause. For board members—especially in public listed companies or those who serve in sensitive industries—Discretion isn’t silence. It’s stewardship. 👉 Share the vision. Champion the mission. But know this: not every conversation belongs in the minutes, and not every comment is meant for the public domain. The governance framework isn’t a muzzle—it’s a compass. It reminds us that protecting the organisation’s integrity is just as important as building its brand. Authenticity in public. Wisdom behind closed doors. Both matter. Both require intention. I’d love to hear how other leaders navigate this balance. How do you decide when to speak—and when to hold back? #BoardLeadership #CorporateGovernance #Authenticity #PublicListedCompanies #LeadershipPresence #DrRunwayLH #BuildYourRunway
