Hey, I'm Anushree!

Born in Mangalore and raised in Mumbai, I've spent over 25 years cooking the food I grew up eating. I created Simple Indian Meals to document the culinary traditions that usually stay tucked away in family memories, translating a handful of this and a pinch of that into precise, reliable recipes so anyone, anywhere, can cook this food with confidence.
