Dr Brigid Clancy is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Newcastle with a PhD in health research and a passion for problem solving and finding pragmatic solutions to complex issues.

She has six years of experience working as a health researcher, with a focus on improving support provisions, health risk factors and quality of life in various populations. The majority of this work has focused on research on support provision for people who have experienced stroke. She has also worked as a research consultant with 360Edge focusing on alcohol and other drug research, education, service improvement, and policy change.

Currently, her research focuses on the use of generative artificial intelligence in higher degree research (PhD and MPhil degrees) alongside delivering practical program enhancements to support doctoral learning and development, and provision of high quality supervision.
