Emma L. Fenske, DO is an Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine physician at The University of Colorado. Her writing bridges clinical experience, health policy, and narrative medicine, focusing on addiction, physician wellbeing, and healthcare reform. She is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of On the Hill, OHSU’s Department of Medicine narrative medicine journal, and a content editor for the Core IM podcast. Her essays and commentaries have appeared in The Portland Tribune, Street Roots, SGIM Forum, and KevinMD, where she writes on the intersections of medicine, humanity, and health policy. Her work has been recognized for its advocacy in social justice, addiction medicine, and medical education.
