Ruth Castel-Branco

Dr Ruth Castel Branco is a Senior Researcher at the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies, where she coordinated the Future of Work(ers) research group. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research interests include digitalization and the changing nature of work, worker organization and the formalization of informal workers, social protection and the redistributive role of the state.
