About the series

A food show that's not really about food

Hungerlust follows proud locals into their kitchens and communities to tell the story behind one dish in each city. Season 1 (2018) visits Tokyo, Paris, Mexico City, London, Jerusalem, Marrakech, Austin and Hong Kong. Season 2 (2019 to 2020) travels to Istanbul, Miami, Reykjavik, Puglia, Berlin, Bangkok, Las Vegas and Denver. No presenter, no scripts: just untold family histories and real stories, told by the people who know their city best.
