Each May, rising seniors can pay $60 to reserve a parking spot in the back lot. For one week in July, the seniors paint their parking spots, customizing their designated place with an approved design of their choosing. While they can only use four colors, two of which must be school colors, and must connect part of their design to MISD's Vision 2030, students otherwise have full creative control over their space.
