Sign up for Rec Sports payroll deduction by Oct. 30

Interested in a Rec Sports membership? The payroll deduction payment option is available to all OSU employees with signups open through Oct. 30. This is a popular option for staff who want to have their annual or nine-month membership deducted from their November-May paychecks rather than paying the total upfront. 26-27 Carbon Reduction Grant applications open (due Nov. 16)

The Faculty Senate Carbon Commitment Committee and the OSU Sustainability Office invite applications for the Carbon Reduction Grant Program. Awards may range in size from $1,000-$25,000 for practical, measurable projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions across Oregon State University operations and activities. The program is open to students and employees. Please see the grant program website for highlights of last year’s projects. Applications are due Nov. 16. Thanks to funding from Facilities Planning and Management, up to $50,000 total is available in FY27. If you have questions, reach out to Laura Rees.

Arts & Humanities Opportunity Fund open for applications

This program offers flexible funding support for all faculty working on arts and humanities projects who are employed at .5FTE or higher. Small awards available up to $1,500, while large awards fall between $1,501 and $10,000. Application window available once each term. This term's deadline is Oct. 19. Learn more.

International Friendship Program (IFP)

Invitation to all OSU and Oregon community members to participate in the International Friendship Program. Apply for a Spring Creek Project faculty residency

OSU faculty are invited to apply for a one-week residency during winter break (Dec. 27 to Jan. 2) at Shotpouch Cabin in the Oregon Coast Range to work on writing, research and creative projects with an environmental focus. Applications are due Nov. 1. Learn more.
