Brochure of Trolley Cars, 1916

Pictured here are selections of locomotive cars from a 1916 Philadelphia Electric Equipment Company brochure entitled, “Cars”. This brochure was enclosed with a letter sent by the manager of the Philadelphia Electric Equipment Company to the commander of the Naval Proving Ground at Indian Head, Maryland. The commander was interested in purchasing new railway cars to relieve traffic congestion, and provide workers with easier transportation to and from the Proving Ground.
