I will be arriving late at night at the Amtrak station in Sacramento after a delayed long distance train. My hotel is in Davis and I will only be carrying a laptop bag. At that hour there may be no scheduled transit left. What is the normal dependable way people make this kind of transfer without relying on someone unofficial approaching them? Is it standard to use the station’s licensed taxi queue, or do most travelers arrange a private car ahead of time?

If it’s late at night, I’d always go for a pre-booked option. But YMMVTraveller– Traveller2026-01-29 20:45:24 +00:00Commented 2 days ago
