Roadkill is a horror-comedy Object Show webcomic created by Viscera Zombie.
The comic can be viewed on the official website
.
This webcomic contains the following tropes:
- A Lizard Named "Liz": Flaggy and Glowy derived their names from the combination of "Flag" and "Glow" (as in glowstick) and the "-y" suffix fondly used in Object Shows.
- A Dog Named "Dog": Every character in the comic uses the same name as the object they are.
- Anthropomorphic Food: Nachos is a serving of cheese and Jalapeño nachos.
- Asshole Victim: Cherry is shown to be sleazy and crass towards women. He is quickly killed off in the prologue of the story.
- Affectionate Nickname: At the start of Chapter 3, Glowy refers to Controller as "Connie".
- Blade Enthusiast: Tissue Box has a morbid fondness for knives which she uses to gleefully kill her victims.
- Honey Trap: Tissue Box manipulates Cherry with the promise of having sex with her, only to reveal her intentions to him and murder him as soon as he makes it to her bed.
- Relationship Reveal: Cherry mentions having a daughter after Tissue Box insults him about not seeing a girl's bedroom before, making it all the more tragic when she kills him.
- The Reveal: At the end of chapter 1, Tissue Box calls Controller's mobile phone, informing her that something bad has happened to her younger sister Tamagotchi, however she is clearly unbothered by the situation. It's then revealed at the start of chapter 2 that Tissue Box murdered Tama's babysitter to lure Controller into her trap.
- Terms of Endangerment: Tissue Box, a serial killer, regularly calls people affectionate nicknames such as "honey" and "sugar" as a part of her typical speech patterns.
- Serial Killer: Tissue Box has (so far) murdered 2 people on-screen, attempted to murder Controller and Tama, and has presumably murdered multiple others on-screen.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Cherry never makes it past the prologue alive as he is Tissue Box's first victim onscreen.
