It’s interesting that the very people who call for lockdowns can’t do it from home. If the government officials and journalists had to follow the same rules as us, instead of listing themselves as “essential”, they would make more balanced decisions.
I’m sorry but since when are TV presenters “essential workers”? Society can still run without TV talking heads. If you’re calling for tougher restrictions, why not lead by example and stay at home? @Lisa_Wilkinson
Locals in Australia don't realise how much the border closure hurts immigrants. We haven't seen our parents and old friends for 2 years. You can say that no one stops us from leaving the country. But that means we are never coming back.
