This fall, students at the Union County Heritage Museum are exploring literature in new ways! Every Tuesday in September, 3^rd-6^thgrade students can participate in PlayMakers- a hands on theater exploration. Students will gain experience in public speaking, learn the basics of play writing, develop their acting skills and strengthen their teamwork as they write a play, create props and prepare to perform their creation over a five-week series of classes. This program will be held September 1^st, 8^th, 15^th,22^nd and 29^th from 3:30 to 4:45 and is provided to our community for free thanks to the generous support of the National endowment for the arts and the Mississippi Arts commission.
