  • This year, we have 38 graduates in our Graduate Development Programme (GDP) 2026-28 cohort. We love to see how our graduates develop and progress their careers with us! 📈 We are really grateful to everyone across Linnaeus who supports our graduates. Sarah Foster, a vet at Sandhole Veterinary Centre Limited in Kent, is also a GDP Regional Support Associate for the South East and London region. She hosted a regional CPD event for our graduates earlier this year with fellow Sandhole vets Lucy Robson and Alex Davies. The event focused on a range of topics, from Addison’s Disease to orthopaedics and a two-hour interactive session focusing on rabbits and guinea pigs in first opinion. Thank you to Sarah, Lucy and Alex for helping our graduates learn and thrive! 🌟 #ProudlyLinnaeus #VeterinaryMedicine #UnitedInCare

On World Patient Safety Day, we wanted to share an article in Vet Record by Lisen Schortz, our Director of Quality and Patient Safety. Lisen discusses new research exploring what pet owners expect from veterinary teams when medical errors happen. When clinical work doesn’t go to plan it is incredibly tough on everyone. To help mitigate the emotional burden on pet owners, transparency is vital, according to the study. For clinical teams, this also highlights that moving from blame towards open, supportive communication can support our own wellbeing. Being able to discuss mistakes openly and learn from them also helps us continuously learn and improve patient safety. 📈 Thanks to Lisen for her article, and thank you to our clinical teams for the care and transparency you show every day. https://ow.ly/LxCk50ZAlmm #WorldPatientSafetyDay #UnitedInCare #ProudlyLinnaeus
