Updates

  • On Sunday 20th September we returned to London Fashion week with the launch of the first Mulberry by Christopher Kane collection at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster. The inaugural collection explored the duality of contemporary British life: the establishment and subculture; the precious and the practical; nature and industry; and uniformity and individuality. Throughout the collection, our iconic Bayswater bag appeared as a motif, with its distinct angles and the leather panels appearing on in the design of coats and skirts – while the classic Postman's Lock translated onto belts and footwear. The full collection is available in January 2027.

We are proud to announce today that we have certified under B Lab UK’s new standards for B Corp Certification, and are among the first UK businesses to do so. We initially certified back in 2024, but the new standards represent an evolution of the B Corp framework, pushing the envelope for business accountability and performance across seven Impact Topics: Purpose & Stakeholder Governance, Fair Work, Human Rights, Climate Action, Environmental Stewardship & Circularity, Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and Government Affairs & Collective Action. Recertification has brought together teams from across the business to review our policies, strengthen governance, engage with stakeholders, and demonstrate how we create value for people, communities, and the environment alongside commercial success. For us, B Corp recertification is not a finish line or end goal. It is a commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement, providing a framework to help us keep raising the bar. Thank you to everyone across Mulberry and our wider network of partners who contributed to this achievement – we’re looking forward to continuing the journey together. Today we announced our FY26 results, marking a year of meaningful progress for Mulberry. Our Back to the Mulberry Spirit strategy is delivering: we returned the business to growth, improved gross margin, delivered positive EBITDA, and significantly reduced our losses. Just as importantly, we've put creativity back at the heart of the brand. The return of the Roxanne, alongside new launches and refreshed icons, has helped reconnect with customers, with more than half of our UK Retail and Digital sales coming from returning customers. Momentum has continued into FY27, with Q1 Group revenue up 23%. Thank you to our colleagues for their creativity, commitment, and hard work which have made this progress possible. • Today we co-hosted a lunch with the British Fashion Council to celebrate the announcement that Mulberry by Christopher Kane will debut at London Fashion Week on Sunday 20th September – with the collection available online and in stores from January 2027.   Guests were hosted at the newly opened Bar Finch in Mayfair by our CEO Andrea Baldo, Creative Director Christopher Kane, and British Fashion Council CEO Laura Weir.   "It is an honour to return to London Fashion Week with Mulberry, I am so grateful to the BFC and fashion community for their support since the announcement. It’s an exciting time, and I look forward to sharing SS27 with everyone." Said Christopher Kane   “One of my earliest ambitions as CEO of the British Fashion Council has been to have iconic British brands return to the London Fashion Week schedule, so it is a real pleasure to welcome Mulberry back,” said Laura Weir.   Of the announcement, Andrea Baldo said: “We are delighted to join the London Fashion Week schedule, to mark the next chapter in the ‘Back to the Mulberry Spirit’ strategy and to confirm our absolute commitment in supporting and championing British talents, creativity, and craftsmanship."

  • A few weeks ago, we were proud to host an event in our Kensington Church Street headquarters for our Senior Leadership Team, which featured guest speakers James Kerr – the best-selling author of the book Legacy – and David Sole OBE, an executive coach, leadership consultant, and former Scottish international rugby captain.    The team were treated to talks about high performance and leadership, as Kerr and Sole discussed topics including how success is built, and how to develop resilience in the workplace.

  • This Somerset Day, we’re once again celebrating the passionate and dedicated people who make our wonderful county stronger every day. In our latest campaign we went back to The Rookery in Chilcompton, turning the spotlight on our craftspeople, and their every stitch that goes into handmaking our bags. In a series of stills shot by long-time collaborator Tim Walker and with select styling from Kate Phelan, plus a number of candid videos, our artisans discuss their memories, their craft, and what Mulberry means to them. In September 2021, we began a long-term partnership and set up a charitable fund with the Somerset Community Foundation. This partnership aligns with our Made to Last strategy – supporting local causes in Somerset through financial grants, and ensuring that these donations have a broad and positive impact in the county. Since its launch, the fund has awarded over £73,000 in grants to local charities or community groups in the area.
