This morning, we hosted our topClub Finance Breakfast at Biba Bar at The Roof Gardens, bringing together finance leaders from across our growing luxury, fashion, beauty & retail community. We discussed the evolving role of finance leaders, the commercial impact of diverse perspectives, and how shifts in talent, skills and AI are shaping the future of our industry. We also shared an early look at an exciting new project we’re developing with British Fashion Council and our new partner EY and heard valuable perspectives from the room as we continue to shape it. Yesterday, we partnered with Istituto Marangoni for Welcome Week, bringing together first-year students for a conversation about starting a career in fashion today. Hosted by our Founder Jamie Gill, we were joined by our key brand partners Sunita Solanki, Senior Director Talent Acquisition EMEA & APAC at Capri Holdings Limited, and Ben de Pfeiffer-Key, Senior Manager, Colleague Engagement & Communications at Burberry, sharing their perspectives on the changing industry, building a career and embracing what makes you different. We finished by putting those ideas into practice, challenging students to turn their own backgrounds, experiences and perspectives into a pitch for the value they can bring to the industry.
