Alex Harris shared thisFeedzai Fusion — what a day! 🎉 Wrapping up an incredible event at Frameless, where we welcomed customers, partners, and prospects from across Financial Services to discuss the latest in Fraud and Financial Crime. A major highlight was announcing our newest Agentic innovation: Farol. We also had the privilege of hearing from leading financial institutions on how they are approaching the implementation of Agentic capabilities into their prevention strategies. We were also treated to an unforgettable keynote from British Astronaut Tim Peake CMG, who took us on a journey through space. He shared incredible insights into the absolute trust required to execute a space mission, along with the light-hearted anecdote that just as they were about to take off, his commanding officer reminded them they were strapped into a rocket built by the lowest bidder! Alex Harris shared thisUnbelievable week in Lisbon for the Feedzai EMEA mid-year offsite! 🇵🇹 With the rapid growth we’ve experienced this year, it was great to bring the teams together and finally meet so many new faces in person. It was an incredibly valuable couple of days as we got to dive deep into exactly why we continue to win market share across the region, get a clear look at where our product is headed next, and build solid plans to ensure we close the year strong. 📈🚀 Of course, it wasn't all work. A big thanks to Rosa Amin for organising an unbelievable boat trip (even if we were roasting in blistering 40°C heat!), and to Telmo Marquês for a cracking night of padel. A shoutout to Bob van Heumen for carrying our team at least some of the time... 👀 A huge thank you to everyone behind the scenes who made this event possible. Alex Harris liked thisAlex Harris liked thisI’m super excited to join Cognition as its Chief Revenue Officer. Going from the 1st sales rep at Snowflake to CRO at a $100b public company was the thrill of a lifetime. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I'd get the opportunity to jump on another rocket ship. Meeting Scott, Russell, and the entire team at Cognition got me so excited to do it again with world-class technology. Hearing how customers spoke about how Devin is transforming their business made me realize this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. While I am not jumping on as the first sales rep this time, I can’t wait to dive in and help drive amazing customer outcomes while building a world-class sales team. As many of you know, Chad Peets was my co-pilot in building the sales team at Snowflake and my business partner when I joined RPT. There is no world where I could be the best version of myself without Chad. So I am thrilled that Chad and the RPT team will be working closely with me in our pursuit of building a generational company. LFG!!

Alex Harris reacted on thisAlex Harris reacted on thisFriday marks the end of my time at Behind Closed Doors. Where do I start? Nobody raves about working in the third sector at school or university. Perhaps that is because of the widely acknowledged challenges that come with it. Nobody tells you what it gives you though. I guess it’s hard to explain. I hope this will land with someone, somewhere, who has that unshakeable fire and energy to do something. Maybe you’re curious to translate that feeling into meaningful work. The third sector can give you a huge sense of purpose and the opportunity to live out your values day in, day out. The chance to make a tangible impact on the issues that matter most, perhaps those close to your heart. The license to challenge some of the systems that uphold everything that is not ok in the world today. The privilege to walk side by side, in complete and total solidarity, with people impacted by some of the world’s biggest challenges. Somewhere to pour your compassion and humanity. Seeing first hand the power of community and connection. Guiding and supporting people whilst placing the power firmly in their hands. Accompanying people to find their voice, their power, their agency. The infectious wisdom, perspective and resilience acquired from the people you get to support. Meeting people you never would have crossed paths with otherwise. The immense pride to form even a tiny part of their tremendous journey. The shared sense of tenacity, comradely and respect with colleagues and people you support alike. All sponsored by, an unwavering commitment to make a positive impact. No matter how small, how long it takes, or how hard it is to achieve. You cannot put a price on that. I am so lucky to have worked at Behind Closed Doors early in my career, to experience how fulfilling the third sector can be. BCD is an organisation where you are valued, empowered and supported beyond measure. Inspired and encouraged to keep learning and evolving to become a better practitioner each day. Magic. BCD is innovative and forward thinking, a breath of fresh air in a sector which can feel stagnated. People often say “your job must be so hard” but when you get to feel like this about work, it’s easily the best job in the world. Anyone interested in getting into the DVA sector, my DM’s are always open. Next stop… Mexico!

Alex Harris liked thisIf you ask most banking leaders what holds them back from modernisation, the answer is rarely a lack of ambition. It's the daunting trade-off between time-to-value, upfront cost, and execution risk. Thats exactly why the global strategic alliance between Engine by Starling and PwC matters. We've paired Engine's end-to-end banking platform with PwC's deep delivery expertise, giving financial institutions a clear, frictionless path to transform for the future. Speed and quality of delivery are no longer in competition. They fuel each other. It was a pleasure to discuss how we are bringing this to life with Araminta Russell, Alex Price and Maria Shterenlikht - learn more below.Alex Harris liked thisBanks have spent years transforming. The question is: how much of that change has reached the heart of their business? Customer expectations, technology innovation and regulatory complexity are pushing banks to deliver more, move faster and prepare for AI, all while operating on foundations built for a different era. Learn from leaders at PwC and Engine by Starling, including Sam Everington, Araminta Russell, Alex Price and Maria Shterenlikht, as they discuss how banks can modernise from the core, creating the flexibility needed to respond to today's challenges and tomorrow's opportunities. https://pwc.to/4bYzaTI #Banking #AI

Alex Harris liked thisIt is extremely bittersweet to announce that, after an amazing five years, today is my last day at ClearBank. Time really does fly when you're working in such a fast-paced, ambitious environment, and I've been so privileged to contribute to ClearBank's growth throughout these years. Along the way, I have gotten to flourish as a nerdy fincrime professional, make a lasting impact and learn more than I thought possible. It's a cliché, but the thing I'll miss most is 100% the people - the dream team across Risk, Ops, Tech, Legal and Sales that have really made things happen. A particular shout out to the incredible MLROs and risk leaders Stuart Ross, Joe McCaughran, Gareth Cronin, Emma Hagan, Ronya Naim and Marta Lia Requeijo and FCC team mates Warren Tomlinson, Bethanie Hall and Xenia Panagiotidou I've gotten to work alongside in my time here. And I could never forget the outstanding 1st Line teams and people who actually make things happen. Thanks to Laura Collins (née Ellis), Heather Chalk, Claire Conaghan, Lauren Donnachie, Mark Hunt, David Parsons just to name a few past and present faces! I leave with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. ❤️ I'm not off for very long, so stay tuned next week for where I'm off to next. 🚀

Data wrangling shouldn't be a Sales Leader's full-time job. 🛑 James Smith (ThoughtSpot's SVP of EMEA) just showed us his #wowmoment & how to turn a simple SDR performance check into a multi-million dollar strategy using Spotter. Why it’s a game-changer: - From Questions to Models: Go from "how many meetings?" to a full impact model in seconds. - Smart Detection: Spotter flagged that outbound conversion was outperforming inbound—before anyone even asked. - Projected Lift: By modeling a 20% activity increase, James projected an 11% lift in quarterly ACV target instantly. ✅ Stop guessing. 78% of B2B sales reps missed quota in 2025. Up from 69% the year before. (Ebsta GTM Benchmarks, 2025) The industry's reaction? More sequences. More tools. More contacts. But reps aren't failing because they're not busy enough. They're failing because they're busy with the wrong people. When your list is 80% noise, your reps spend most of their week chasing contacts who will never buy. Quota math breaks down fast. It's not a motivation problem. It's a targeting problem. The fix isn't volume. It's starting with contacts who already match your ICP, have the right buying signals, and are actually reachable. Better inputs. Better pipeline. Better quota attainment. That's the whole argument.

Top performing AEs earn £140k–£220k in the UK Yet most never break past mid-tier performance Not because they can’t sell Because most AE roles reward pipeline coverage, not deal craftsmanship There are thousands of AEs in SaaS But: • Fewer than 50% consistently hit quota • The top 10% generate the majority of revenue • Most deals are lost, not to competitors, but to “no decision” They don’t outperform because they run more demos They outperform because they operate differently: 1. Deal control > deal activity Running 12 deals poorly is worse than running 4 with precision - top AEs don’t chase pipeline, they control it 2. Commercial judgment Average AEs follow the process - top AEs know when to break it They understand deal risk, power, and politics before it’s visible in the CRM 3. Qualification discipline Weak AEs try to “save” every deal - strong AEs kill deals early and double down on the right ones. 4. Disqualification is a revenue skill Multi-threading early If you’re single-threaded, you’re already losing - top AEs build consensus before the deal even looks real. 5. Timing > pressure Pushing harder doesn’t close deals - entering at the right moment does. The best AEs don’t force urgency, they align with it. And the biggest lie in SaaS sales? That hitting quota once means you’re a strong AE. It doesn’t. Consistency is the real signal.

Most UK Sales Teams Are Running Too Lean Over the last 18 months, many UK companies reduced headcount. Lean became the strategy. Lean is efficient. But lean sales teams come with a hidden risk: Not enough pipeline creation capacity. When salespeople are: Closing Managing accounts Handling admin Running demos Prospecting becomes inconsistent. And inconsistent prospecting creates inconsistent pipeline. Which creates inconsistent revenue. The strongest companies right now aren’t necessarily hiring big teams again. They’re simply ensuring one thing: Pipeline never stops being created. Because when top-of-funnel slows, everything downstream feels harder. Lean is fine. Thin pipeline isn’t. www.sourcearep.com
