Thanks to everybody who joined us😊Lucia Ronco shared thisThis morning we hosted our annual The Brilliant Breakfast in support of The King's Trust, a charity we have supported for the past 3 years. It felt particularly special doing this during International Women’s Week, surrounded by an incredible Feedzai team, customers and partners, that I’m lucky to spend time: Sharon Macauley, Martina Quarta, Lucia Ronco, Ginny Follen, Sue Kim, Claire Hatcher, Mamta Lal-Patel, Adrian Shaw, Mike Sedcole, Alex Harris and Luis Junes. We had an incredible session, led by JEZ ROSE. His passion for exploring how we can live and work with greater meaning. How we can achieve extraordinary things with simple changes on how we think, Jez shared powerful ideas about mindset and performance. A few takeaways that stayed with me: - 47% of adults operate on autopilot. As we get older we often stop asking questions, but curiosity shapes our thinking, behaviour and outcomes - Accentuate the positive in life and work - Embrace imperfection Such a brilliant morning, great conversations, and all for a cause that helps young people build brighter futures. #Feedzai #BrilliantBreakfast #KingsTrust

Lucia Ronco liked thisLucia Ronco liked this... and it's a wrap. I entered this exact foyer on 1st April 2014. Funny how things sometimes come full circle. I had the opportunity to work with many amazing people during my time with Security IT / Cyber Security Services and later with Online Security Systems / Digital Security. Too many names to mention. One thing I definitely learnt here - even simple things, when done at scale, require a lot of planning and execution follow-through. My mission to provide cyber security and digital fraud resilience continues, just in another form. And at the end, because of BYOD, all I had to do before I left was to return 2 cards. How times have changed!

First up is the Fraud FS Summit by Intellect FS on 15th October at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, London City. Key themes will include: • The growing use of AI in fraud and the pressure this puts on detection and controls • Changing fraud typologies and how teams are adapting their approaches • Cross-border scams and the need for greater collaboration across borders and sectors • Insider threats and when trusted access becomes a fraud risk inside financial institutions I look forward to hearing from Gareth Davies, Deborah King, Gill Hayman, Aisling T., Bethan Wearmouth & Andy Renshaw to name a few. Next is the 3rd Fraud & Scams Leaders Summit UK by Transform Finance #TransformFinance on 22nd October at The Tower Hotel, London. This was the one quote that stuck the most with the Feedzai team at WeSec - Il Salone della Sicurezza, as the Italian finance sector gathered for two high-intensity days in Milan 🇮🇹 With Vincenzo Insalaca, Eugenia Perez , Salvatore P., and Enrico Montagnino, we had an all-Italian team on the ground – and you know that means fresh, piping hot espressos at the booth! ☕ The team reported key insights and trends from the event, and here is the run down: 1. Fraud is very much a human and psychological game. 74% of fraudulent bank transfers in Italy are the result of manipulation of the victim, who himself initiates the payment. The rates of human manipulation resulting in fraud is much lower in the corporate segment (37%). The strategies to fight this differ, and it’s important we apply the correct tools and preventions to each case. Yet, deception is the common denominator for fraudsters trying to conduct financial crime. 2. Digital sovereignty was another point of discussion at the conference. Italy is a global player and financial powerhouse, but its reality sits at the heart of Europe. Several speakers shared the sentiment that a strong, European defense against financial crime is crucial in order to tackle the unique challenges facing the individual countries in the region. In general, there was a noticeable optimism that Europe can - and is - building top-of-the-line, competitive technologies in this space. 3. Attendees had a strong focus on what concrete actions they can take today in order to strengthen their fraud defenses, AI capabilities, and get ready for PSR. This practical approach is a way to move fast, even when there remains a gap in awareness across key stakeholders. Showing real results is a way to further common understanding of the unique challenges faced by financial institutions in 2026. Thank you for sharing these insights with us, team! Our speakers went beyond theory, sharing firsthand, battle-tested strategies that help them keep money moving safely. This level of transparency is a true reflection of what collaboration can look like in practice. And the moment that I'd been waiting for: announcing Feedzai Farol. Farol is an always-on agent that multiplies the impact of fraud teams, delivering rule insights in minutes and cutting investigation time. Bringing it to the stage alongside the whole venue experience gave me goosebumps. It was a real team effort, with a huge shout-out to the creative wizards behind it.
