We just announced #Dhivaru, a new Trans-Indian Ocean subsea cable system that will connect the Maldives, Christmas Island and Oman. This investment will build on the #AustraliaConnect initiative, furthering the reach, reliability, and resilience of digital connectivity across the Indian Ocean. We are also introudicing the concept of connctivity hubs for our global #subsea network offering three core capabilities: cable switching, content caching, and colocation. For the Royal Navy, sovereign AI capabilities are essential to stay ahead of adversaries. We recently announced that the Royal Navy is using OCI Roving Edge Infrastructure to run Whitespace’s fully integrated sovereign AI capability, Saga, aboard HMS Prince of Wales. This enables the Royal Navy to use its sovereign AI platform to support the UK’s national security whether HMS Prince of Wales is in national waters or deployed abroad.
