Their people first approach to AI is exactly what we've seen working directly with Publicis. When we ran AI training with their team earlier this year, the thing that stood out was how much better the output got once experienced art directors were crafting the story. The Tuncarp team running the session saw how the Ai output elevates once the best creatives get their hands on the latest models. The craft knowledge they'd built over years was what was missing from the raw AI output; judgment calls, the instinct for when something is technically correct but creatively wrong. Getting consistent, usable results with AI requires someone who understands both sides well enough to course and can correct when the machine drifts. You can't automate that (yet!). Studios who think agents are going to replace headcount completely are going to find that out the hard way that that isn't the way forward. Silence. No reduction in onboarding cycle time. No measurable drop in AML false positives. No material improvement in cost-to-serve. Just experiments. Gabriel Campa (Towerbank): A powerful voice for the 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. His mantra—“Don’t rebuild yesterday—design tomorrow”—perfectly encapsulates their ethos of achieving "𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧" while building the world's first CryptoBanking-as-a-Service platform on Appian. As Head of Global Industry and Value, my contribution was reinforcing the 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The past months have been about more than just completing my University of Cambridge course. It’s also been about building resilience and reflecting on what I truly want from the place where I’ll be spending most of my time. 🎉 I am super excited to share that I have joined Rogo as Director of Trust! In this role, I will be working with our clients and teams across Rogo to help navigate AI governance, regulatory requirements, security, risk, and adoption with confidence. It is an amazing time to be joining a company building trusted AI for financial services. It has been an exciting first 2 weeks, from meeting the team in New York to getting settled in our brand-new London office. A massive thank you to everyone at Rogo for welcoming me with open arms. Sarah Scott Paul (SSP) has definitely made me rethink that. We’ve had a massive 12 months at Emotive, with Gavin McLeod (Chief Creative Officer), Jessica Cluff (Head of Earned Creative), Sebastian Revell (Chief Strategy Officer), Clément Simon (Head of Social and Content), Tian Skene (Business Director) and SSP (Director of People & Culture) all stepping into leadership roles. Together with the broader team who’ve helped build Emotive over the years, they’re giving the business real momentum. And a fair bit of what’s changed for our people has SSP’s fingerprints on it. Her role is fractional, her contribution is anything but! She truly knows our people, challenges us when we need it and rips in and does the work. Over the past year, she’s changed how we develop our people. DiSC, Five Behaviours, The Leadership Circle, Radical Candor, Elevate Leadership Program. She’s built the approach and delivered all of the training herself. In that time, our eNPS has increased 49 points. It’s made me think how much great leadership businesses miss out on because they assume the role has to fit a traditional full time shape. I certainly had that assumption for a role at SLT level and was unsure how well this would work. SSP proved me wrong and I love the fact that some of our clients now work with her directly too. So, in the spirit of paying it forward, if you’re looking for a fresh perspective on your people and culture, I couldn’t recommend Sarah Scott Paul more highly.

Matt Gillings liked thisMatt Gillings liked thisI was in the Midwest visiting clients with my colleague Nick McCreesh, and I saw a McDonald’s sign off the highway. “Open interviews every Thursday 1-4.” I thought to myself: that is so smart. Such a low-barrier way for candidates to get started. At Rogo, we can never hire good people quickly enough. So I immediately wondered what a version of McDonald's approach could look like for us. This led to our inaugural Forward Deployed Banker hiring event this weekend. Dozens of investment bankers, investors, and other financial services professionals came to Rogo’s HQ in NYC to meet the Rogo team and complete the first stages of our interview process. Multiple conversations per candidate - typically spread over weeks - all in one afternoon. Thanks McDonald’s for the idea on how to supercharge our hiring, and thanks to all of the candidates that came out! Matt Gillings liked thisMatt Gillings liked thisSpent an hour this morning at a panel on the ROI of AI, seated between a Marilyn and a Mao. Nobody mentioned it. Warhol spent the sixties saying he wanted to be a machine. He built a studio called the Factory, hired assistants to pull the prints, and made a career out of removing his own hand from the work. The art world argued for thirty years about whether that counted. Both pictures on the wall are appropriated. Marilyn came off a publicity still, printed after she died. Mao came off the official state portrait. Neither is an original observation. Both are source material run through a process until the subject wears off and you are left with the art. We were there to discuss where value comes from when intelligence costs nothing. The answer was hanging on either side of us the whole time: control the output. The generation is free. The scarcity is manufactured. Great sharing from the panelists.
