I used Synaptic to install the Dolphin file manager under my Parrot OS (home edition) and Dolphin displays every second line in the filename 'blacked out'list with a black background, i.e. it is impossible to read the name of the file. 

Very strange. I am using a dark theme, but changing to a lighter theme does not seem to affect this anomaly in Dolphin. Also, my preferred one-click setting does not work with Dolphin, and I have not found a one-click option in Dolphin's settings. Perhaps Dolphin is not meant to be used with Parrot OS and Mate?
