Using the capitalist motif of Parker Brothers venerable board game, Monopoly Casino: Vegas Edition incorporates traditional game pieces and locales into the various gambling machines and tables. A dozen new slot machines, more than 245 variations of gameplay, and a host of customizable features such as betting limits, music and sound toggles, and stiff AI competition, put you in the middle of the action on the casino floor.

Unlike real-life casinos that guarantee corporate long-run profits through a built-in favorable house edge for each game (usually in the form of manipulated payoff odds), Monopoly Casino: Vegas Edition is designed to offer fun and fairness with positive or improved expectations. Video poker and blackjack are exceptions to casino controlled game results, and extended play on the former and card-counting techniques on the latter, can pay off with perseverance in this game as well as at gambling venues.

Most games offered include options on bet types, payoffs, wagering limits, number of card decks (if applicable) and rule adjustments. Game types include roulette, craps, slot machines, video poker, Money Wheel, Pai Gow Poker, Keno, bingo, Sic Bo, blackjack, and poker. The interface consists of universal and betting tools for control and adjustments of all games from the main casino floor, with specific individual game options available as well.

Monopoly Casino: Vegas Edition adds 12 never before seen slot machines, a higher number of game variations and improved graphics to Monopoly Casino's formula. Things such as the thimble mascot and places found on the traditional board game have been implemented into each gambling game.
