Last week, 110 years ago, on 13 April 1912, the Royal Flying Corps was instituted by Royal Warrant. Few ‘Royal Flying Corps’ ribbons from the Naval Wing uniform's caps survived, we are lucky to have two in the NMRN collection.

Falkland veterans were invited to a glimpse of the first Type 26 frigate – HMS Glasgow – which is currently under construction. The 44 veterans all served on the previous HMS Glasgow which saw action during the Falklands War in 1982.
