New Book - Coming Soon

A pan-historical exploration of the six wild forces - Ecology, Culture, Technology, Economy, Wealth, and Governance - that drive and produce our hyper-globalizing civilization. It's wild.

Inside the Black Box

Wild Globalization explores the “quantum entanglement” of six primal forces-energies from which “civilization” no longer merely evolves but rather emerges to the shock and awe of the natural world. We may observe what goes in and what comes out of the box, but what happens inside surpasses our complete understanding. It’s wild.

Pan-Historical Lens

Drawing from paleoecology to governance across 300,000 years of civilization.

Can we turn our incessantly creative-destructive and emerging hyper-tech nature back on itself to gain new comparative advantages? How can we, in the 21st century, regain practical advantage for our own - and the Earth’s - precarious endurance?

Author & Thought Leader

Gary Bedford has studied globalization since living abroad in Norway in 1970-1971 and later traveling through major faith traditions with Huston Smith’s International Honors Program.

His background in philosophical theology, global religions, wealth management, and estate planning gives Wild Globalization its unusual angle: part intellectual trek, part practical reckoning with risk, value, and human judgment.

Bedford writes from Boulder County, Colorado, drawing on decades of study, travel, and searching client conversations about how people navigate wealth, uncertainty, and the wild pressures of the 21st century.
