Spark Creativity with Code/Art Programs

Code/Art uses art and creative coding to help students in grades 3–12 become creators, not just consumers, of technology. Through in-class lessons, after-school clubs, camps, and workshops, students build the three C’s: Competence, Confidence, and Community, and begin to see themselves as creative technologists and changemakers.

CodeYourSelf™ Competition

Code/Art’s annual CodeYourSelf™ Competition for Girls brings together art, creativity, and tech to inspire the next generation of creative technologists. Students use digital tools to create original self portraits while developing creative problem solving, computational thinking, and the confidence to see themselves as creators and innovators.

Open to girls in grades 3–12 across the U.S., this competition provides an engaging way for students to explore technology through creative expression and hands-on learning. The entry period runs from October through February.
