Perplexity has announced that its AI browser Comet is now available to all users at no cost.

When the first version of Comet was released in July, only users who paid $200 per month for Perplexity’s max subscription could access the browser. The big draw of Comet is a built-in assistant that answers questions, summarizes content, and browses for the user.

However, if users want help with more advanced tasks or access to high-performance AI models, they’ll still have to pay for the max subscription, Techcrunch reports.
