Purchased a case on release, I believe this is a 75% Merlot/25% Cabernet Sauvignon blend from my recollection of what Barbara and Jim Richards once told me, medium-dark ruby/purple color, dark fruit seems mature, but the wine still shows deep, mountain fruit, structure, very good balance still, long, lingering finish, I still have a few more, it’s probably drinking as well as it ever will, miss the Richards a lot, such gracious, wonderful people!! — 7 days ago

[En Magnum] Lovely medium-red color, shows a bit of “Miguoa” funk (Brett?), youthful red fruits balanced by great acidity, still shows very fine structure, drinks very well tonight with grilled pork and grilled beef, very long, lingering finish, a great Bandol from a great vintage!!
