Hello there! I hope everyone is safe and well and also a bit excited to draw a fun little landscape with me here. It's just a quick few steps that i'm gonna talk about in this tutorial to get you started. So I hope you guys enjoy the ride and learn something fun. It is of course sponsored by the good people at DeviantArt. And they have a little gift for you guys as well, you just have to submit your deviation with the hashtag of #BisBisTutorial to earn an exclusive cute little profile badge ;)

Also i'll add the brushes that i used to create this illustration. Enjoy!

Tools: I use a basic intuos tablet with photoshop as my main software but you can always use whatever you're comfortable with and follow along easily.

The Brushes I use.

Step 1: Sketch>  I always start with  collecting references and setting up a mood before I start the sketch process. It is very important to look for real videos or go out to see your surroundings for the references instead of still images from the internet. Right after that I start with a quick sketch or 2 or 3 until I find the best possible composition. And when I'm happy with the comp I start to fine tune the sketch a bit more to get things more clearer.

Step 2: Colours & Values> Now that the sketch is done I try to put all the solid colours first and then the values in for the light source and shadows.

Step 3: Refined shapes & colours> Not sure if you can call it a step or not but, This is the time I get away from the drawing a bit and then come back to see if I still like all the positioning of everything or not. And you guessed it, I always find something to change so this is that stage where I change the shapes and proportions for the final time before moving to rendering.

Step 4: Rendering> Well, as the name suggests this is the step where I 'lock-in' and do all the colouring, blending and detailings until I feel good about it.
I always start with the sky first and then move to the land and trees and the subject at the end.

Step 5: Final Touches> After finishing the rendering this is where you can add all the little things that can give the illustration an extra edge. It can be anything really. Small little attention to details will go a long way . Take your time.
